Not being funny though, Jones is an issue when he doesn’t even stick to a single position. Lad is desperate to be on the ball, he’s a real problem playing next to Gravenberch when he is like this because Ryan is left exposed more often than not. Highlighted this the other day. Him & Szoboszlai just kept getting in each others way or they’d be so far apart the midfield was open. Slot needs to be his instruction across better but, Jones has always been like this because of his need to be on the ball. He has even said himself in interviews that if he’s not involved enough for his liking he will go searching for it.
