We have guys all over this roster who couldn’t even make the Opening Day team and were picked up off waivers, yet this kid has been sitting in Triple-A all season, grinding and producing. Meanwhile, the Mets can’t score runs to save their lives. At some point, what’s the harm in giving the kid a shot? Just my opinion.

I've seen other teams go into slumps, but when the Mets do it, they seem to want to try and reset the bar on how bad an entire team can play.
