A Lost Lake Farm cheese/farm announcement thread for those of you that have been following along and/or follow my husband @lostlakefarmer. After 7 years of commercial production, we are going to pause cheese-making until 2025. All livestock is leaving the farm while we reset.

This was not the relationship I was expecting when the little cheese joined the squad!

Twitter fam, thank you for helping me to find the family of the 9 year old girl from NJ who had the police called on her by her neighbor for collecting lantern flies. I connected with them & invited them to @yale for a Black girl led Science Tour! Yesterday—HISTORY was MADE (1/)

Verification is a public service, it is a good deed performed by companies who contribute very little good to the world in my opinion. We should be making easier clearer paths to verification for everyone, not making it harder. It is their responsibility, not a business model.

When we took in nacho from @tine_theherd, we were expecting a disabled dog w/serious allergies & orthopedic issues; his prev family asked to euthanize him bc of the seriousness & expense of his condition. Instead, we got a happy, healthy, energetic 80lb puppy: our nacho c. fry 1/
