Today, I had the great honour of welcoming Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji to my residence in Jubilee Hills along with my wife Smt. Despite his hectic schedule and immense responsibilities, he took time to visit and extend his support, a gesture that I deeply value and cherish. On April 19, immediately after my surgery, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji personally called to enquire about my health and extended his heartfelt reassurance and support during a difficult time. Now, during my recovery, his visit to my residence today is a gesture of immense kindness and care that I will always cherish. This morning, I got on the Palle Velugu bus from Mangalagiri to Penumaka - not as a minister, but as someone who just wanted to listen. I sat with Divyang brothers and sisters. Some were heading to work, some to the market, and some were simply going about their day. As the bus moved, so did the conversations - quiet, honest and full of the kind of strength that doesn't announce itself. One conversation, though, stayed with me more than the rest. A young man, studying to become a special educator at JNTU, turned to me and said something I won't forget easily. He quoted Amartya Sen’s “Double Handicap” concept, telling me that persons with disabilities carry more financial burden than the general public just to live the same life. "This Divyanga Shakti policy doesn't just reduce that burden," he said. "It gives us the chance to contribute - to the state, to the country. That's what makes it meaningful." Here was a young man, navigating his own challenges every day, already training himself to serve others with disabilities, and he was thinking about nation-building. That kind of perspective is humbling. Divyanga Shakti isn't really about transportation. It's about a person being able to leave their house in the morning and not have to think twice about how they'll get there. It's dignity in something as ordinary as a commute, and as that young man from JNTU reminded me, it's also an investment in what our people can give back when given the chance. I'm grateful to Hon. PM Sri @narendramodi ji, whose belief in a truly inclusive India has never wavered, and to Hon. CM Sri @ncbn garu, who has worked hard to make that belief real on the ground - in villages, in towns, on routes like the one I travelled today. We have more to do. The story of Araku Coffee, our very own Indian brand which has gone global, has entered a new and exciting chapter. For over 25 years, the Naandi Foundation @naandi_india has worked to transform the lives of subsistence farmers in the Araku Valley of Andhra Pradesh, India. By providing regenerative farming inputs and sharing best practices for growing high-quality coffee, they have helped build a sustainable and resilient farming community. From the very beginning, our ambitious goal was not only to improve farmers’ livelihoods, but also to ensure that their dedication and exceptional coffee were recognised on the global stage. Naandi globally pioneered the application of the terroir approach, traditionally used in grape cultivation and winemaking, to coffee growing in Araku. Terroir, meaning a “sense of place”expresses the unique character of a region by aligning varieties and farming practices with local soil, microclimates, and landscape. Recently, Araku Coffee launched the NANOLOT Series, the rarest and purest expression of specialty coffee. Grown on single plots by individual farmers and harvested in exceptionally small quantities, each nanolot is carefully processed and roasted in micro-batches to reveal the purest expression of its terroir. Priced at ₹10,000 per kg (USD 100 per kg), the NANOLOT Series represents one of the highest price points ever achieved by an Indian Arabica coffee. The first release a fortnight ago sold out online within 24 hours, and the second, last week, in just two hours. Thirupparankundram is the First of the Six Abodes of Lord Murugan (Kartikeya). The practice of lighting lamps atop the hill during the Tamil month of Karthigai is an ancient tradition of Hindus. It is sad and ironic that today the Hindus in Bharat have to seek judicial interventions to practice their faith and perform their rituals. If, even after winning a decisive legal battle, devotees cannot perform a simple, peaceful ritual on their own property, then where, in their own country, shall they truly find constitutional justice? In short and simple, let all the Hindus in Bharat understand this - The bitter truth is - The Chennai High Court affirmed our right to light the Deepathoon - first by a single judge, then upheld by a higher bench. Legally, the battle was won. Yet, practically, we were forced to adjust. Ask yourself - Can any religious festival be moved a week late? Can a holy day's celebration be shifted to a different time? No. Because the sanctity of religious time and the integrity of every religious calendar is non-negotiable. Yet, for Sanatana Dharma, the moment—the sacred Karthigai Deepam—was stolen, vanished forever. Why? Because Hindus can be taken for granted. Sometimes it's the governments, sometimes it’s the executive, sometimes it’s the NGOs, sometimes it’s a random pseudo intellectual groups – but every time, it is Hindus who accept the loss and adjust. We secured the right, but lost the ritual. This repeated, systemic denial is why a time has come to demand more than just court victories - We need the Sanatana Dharma Raksha Board where devotees actively manage their own temples and religious affairs. Mockery of Hindu traditions and rituals has become a norm for certain groups. Do they dare to do the same for other religious events? Does Article 25 become an optional right instead of a fundamental right to the Hindus? Can a Police Commissioner or a District Magistrate unilaterally nullify a specific High Court Directive? If the High Court confirmed the Deepam lighting was a "harmless religious act" on legally owned land, who decides that this practice constitutes a threat to "communal harmony," and by what legal mechanism? How come HR&CE Department consistently and repeatedly act against the interests of Hindu devotees and their temple's traditions, and how do these officials evade serious accountability? Hindus should observe the collective spirit and solidarity shown by practitioners of Abrahamic religions (religions of Arabian origin) when religious issues arise. They overcome their ethnic, regional, and linguistic differences for the sake of their faith. As long as Hindus remain divided by caste, regional, and linguistic barriers, the mockery, insults, and abuses against the Hindu religion and its practices shall continue. If Hindus in our nation don't unite under a common minimum program with the collective spirit of Hindu Dharma (or Aram in Tamil), this spirit will be lost. I hope for a day when every Hindu from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kamakhya to Dwarka wakes up to the humiliation Hindus face in their own land. #Tiruparakundaram #SanatanaDharmaRakshaBoard
