Also it's important for anyone with an avoidant attachment style to know that they can only release the deep shame & hurt they feel is to acknowledge what they're doing, learn why & take the steps needed to break out of the patterns. Otherwise the shame & hurt will remain.

In my career defending academic freedom and free speech, I never saw anything become as immediately radioactive as views that ran counter to the narrative on trans issues.
