I do think these days it’s harder to “avoid” news about pop stars or musicians than athletes

Chances are a coworker over 40 is not gonna know who Sabrina carpenter or Olivia Rodrigo is either. Most people like some type of music but it’s usually limited

@DragonflyJonez I kinda agree with this but I kinda disagree. I agree about the not knowing who sports stars are. But people don’t be knowing about music. I had a coworker who said she had never heard a Kanye song. When Kendrick got the Super Bowl the vast majority of my coworkers didnt know him

I saw Twisters here last year and it was one of the coolest theater experiences of my life. Shaking, water sprays, wind in your face, in-theater lightning effects, holy shit. It was incredible.
I don't know if it's worth it for most movies, but for Twisters? ohhhhh yeahhhh

How could this even happen? You’d look up “Interstellar” and somehow get Gravity, ignore that it says Gravity, start the movie, then would watch 30 minutes of Gravity, pass the title card that says “Gravity”, then turn the movie off and once again ignore that the page says “Gravity” and not “Interstellar”

My most embarrassing moment of 2026. For years, I've been hearing how great "Interstellar" was. I didn't think it was that great. I tried to watch it, but I quit after about a half-hour. No desire to attempt it again. Couldn't understand why it kept getting such great reviews. Just last week, a friend mentioned it as one of the best films in recent memory. So I decided to give it another try. Folks ... I never watched "Interstellar" before last night. What I tried to watch, and quit, was "Gravity." Those two films existed as one and the same in my mind, for over a decade. In my defense, they were released only a year apart.
