We did discuss Klein in the rankings summit but came to the conclusion that his selection in R2 was simply a major reach by the Texans. In my personal rankings that I put together in January during my initial pass through this year's prospects, I had him projected as a late Day 3/UDFA-level prospect. I get that he played behind some really good TEs at Michigan, but IDK how long we should continue to label him a "developmental" prospect. The guy has played football for most of his life and has been playing in America since he was a junior in high school. His athletic testing at the Combine was encouraging, but I still feel like never clearing 25 receptions, 250 yards, or a single TD in any college season is more telling of who he is as a fantasy prospect. PFF has his run-blocking grade right around average. However, in @Jesse_Cohen_ 's latest up on the site, he brings up the same point as you concerning Klein, so you should definitely go check that out if you haven't already. I am always open to the possibility that I am wrong about Klein, and he will surely be coming off the board in rookie drafts. Taking a swing on him in the later rounds is understandable in a weak class, but we liked the fantasy profiles of some of the UDFAs a little better. rotoviz.com/2026/05/winnin…

Hey Zac, it's difficult to say definitively which day it will come out - it largely revolves around when we can get together to set the rankings - but I'm hoping to get it out by the middle of the week to give everyone a chance to go over the new content before FFPC rookie drafts kick off the following weekend.

Hey @LateRoundQB I'm trying to understand what goes into how your rookie ranks differ from ZAP model score/category. For example: Marlin Klein has ZAP of 59.7/Flex play and Skyler Bell ZAP 34.3/Benchwarmer, but you have Bell ranked at #34 & Klein at #43. Can you explain that?

@FantasyOgre Parker Washington was 23 years old when he already broke out in his 3rd year. Michael Wilson was 25 when he broke out on his 3rd year. Jalen Tolbert is 27 going into his 5th year and hasn't broken out, despite opportunity. That one ain't happening.

2 players that cost practically nothing that I'd be looking to acquire in dynasty: 1.) Chris Rodriguez 2.) Jalen Tolbert I think Rodriguez could prove to be more valuable than Tuten & I think Tolbert can have a random late breakout similar to Michael Wilson/Parker Washington

This is not the best rookie draft era of our time…. But I’d argue it may be the most fun. There is no consensus beyond RB1 and QB1. It is an abstract painting. The second round of rookie drafts is going to look completely different for everyone. Enjoy it…

I’ve been doing rookie drafts since 2009. I know others on here have been rolling even before that. We’ve had stacked years (2010/2017/2024)) and we’ve had terrible years (2013/2019/2025) But we’ve never had a year like this 🤣

Five days ago, I would have been ecstatic to have one of these receivers fall to me at 1.12. Today, not so much.

Some of these free agency winners also had nice runouts in the draft: * Mark Andrews -- Ravens passed on Kenyon Sadiq at 14. Only draft pick at TE was Round 4 Matthew Hibner. Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar gone. * Josh Downs -- Colts didn't draft a WR until Round 7. Coaches saying Downs will have a chance to play outside. * Jayden Reed -- Packers drafted no Romeo Doubs or Dontayvion Wicks replacements. Gave Reed contract extension during draft.
