$200 billion would pay for free college for every American, $10 day childcare, 1000 new trade schools, the 40% federal share of special needs education and a lot more. What are we even doing here? MAGA is now Iran first?

Really hard to blame TSA agents for bailing. They have to feed their families. So when you get to the front of the security lines, don't take your frustrations out on THEM, even if they're grumpy. The folks who are still on the job deserve our profound thanks. And paychecks!

🚨 Trump just threatened to nuke Iran: “The power of some of this weaponry is unthinkable. You don't even want to know about it. You could end this thing in 2 seconds if you wanted to.” Enough is enough. This is the second time he has threatened to use nukes. REMOVE HIM NOW!!!

Together with our allies, we condemn in the strongest terms recent attacks by Iran on unarmed commercial vessels in the Gulf, attacks on civilian infrastructure including oil and gas installations, and the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iranian forces.

Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions. But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

1. The U.S. Constitution (Article I)The Constitution gives Congress, not the president, the power to declare war. The president can act to defend the US against an imminent attack without congressional approval, but initiating war requires Congress. Trump did not seek a debate or vote he acted without notifying the vast majority of lawmakers. 2. The War Powers Resolution (1973) Legal experts say the strikes "clearly violate the War Powers Resolution." The law requires a formal written report to Congress within 48 hours of introducing US forces into hostilities not just briefing the small "Gang of Eight." Because American service members died in the operation, there are further legal concerns, as Congress is intended to decide when American lives are placed at risk in offensive wars. 3. The War Crimes Act (1996) Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said there would be "no quarter, no mercy" for Iran. Under the Hague Convention and other international treaties, threatening that no quarter will be given is illegal. The 1996 War Crimes Act also prohibits such policies, as do US military manuals themselves. International Laws Allegedly Violated 4. UN Charter Article 2(4) (Prohibition on Use of Force)Article 2(4) of the UN Charter prohibits the use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state. The UN Security Council did not authorize any military action, meaning the sole lawful pathway for the use of force outside of self-defense was never pursued. 5. International Law on Self-Defense (Caroline Doctrine) Israel said the strikes were "preventive," meaning they were intended to stop Iran from developing a future threat. But preventive war has no legal basis under international law. The Caroline doctrine requires a threat to be "instant, overwhelming, and leaving no choice of means" conditions experts say did not exist with Iran on February 28. 6. Crime of Aggression The UN special rapporteur on counterterrorism stated: "This is not lawful self-defence against an armed attack by Iran." Experts argue that "preventive disarmament, counterterrorism and regime change constitute the international crime of aggression." 7. UN Charter Article 2(2) (Good Faith in Negotiations) Launching strikes during active negotiations violates the principle of good faith under Article 2(2) of the UN Charter. Iranian policymakers had already accused the US of bad faith after earlier strikes disrupted previously scheduled talks. 8. Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes Against Internationally Protected Persons (New York Convention) Attacking heads of state is illegal under the New York Convention. The strikes targeted Iran crossing a threshold that distinguishes military operations from acts of aggression. 9. Geneva Convention (Duty to Rescue)After a US submarine sank the Iranian warship IRIS Dena, killing at least 84 people, US forces purportedly declined to help rescue sailors even though the Geneva Convention largely requires aid to the shipwrecked. 10. Laws of War on Civilian Protection Reports of an airstrike on a girls' school in the southern Iranian city of Minab killed at least 165 people. Experts noted "deeply alarming reports of attacks on schools and critical civilian infrastructure," raising serious concerns about violations of the laws of armed conflict protecting civilians. Shall I keep going?

Do you condemn the categorically unjustified and indisputably illegal invasion of sovereign Iran, Prime Minister? Do you condemn running indiscriminate carpet bombing slaughter missions from British soil, Prime Minister? Do you condemn providing Israel with the very munitions to attempt to assassinate one of your very own British subject journalists earlier today, Prime Minister? Is one of your Lords invested in the very company that manufactured said munition, Prime Minister? You knew everything about Peter Mandelson, Prime Minister. You, Prime Minister — are a bloody disgrace — another spineless, duplicitous embarrassment who sold it all for the shekel. Perhaps it's time you read the room, Prime Minister?
