The last time an NHL team got rid of a 100-point scorer for very little was when Boston dealt Joe Thornton to San Jose. The Bruins went from a 104-point team to a 74-point one. The Leafs gave up Marner for Nic Roy and went from 108 to 78. There's a lesson there somewhere.
