Kinda funny how Kylo Ren somehow found a working tie fighter in Death Star wreckage that fell onto an ocean moon over three decades ago that also has hyperspace capabilities

@SCentralized Dude, the way you can infer Ben reacted to his parents by rebelling against everything they stood for and gaslighting himself into loving fascism makes me think that Mon's daughter could be one of those figures who openly supported the First Order in the New Republic

It seems like Kylo Ren is much more of a true believer in the First Order’s ideology in TFA’s novelization. I wish canon expanded on this more.

@DarthInternous Good point. I've never been big on Saw since TCW, but I do like seeing this softer side of him that he's understandably had to lock down. Haven't read Rebel Rising yet, but I'm hoping we get more nice Saw in it, and that these flashes of warmth aren't a manipulation tactic 🤞

@baikanon @CobaltGreen1138 Saw is a complicated person, inhabiting both different personas at diff times based on need/his audience/etc. But as a man of purpose even as the burdens of years of grief/war/loss/pain/etc mount, he's never just the "crazed" extremist we see him often described as by others.

@DarthInternous @CobaltGreen1138 Quick aside, it was a bit odd to read Catalyst recently and see Saw being nice to Galen and commending him for defecting after coming from Bad Batch, Andor, and Mask of Fear, where he feels much more blunt/aggressive. It'll be interesting to see how Saw develops in this series

@SCentralized I personally didn't struggle with this, but a clear line about Holdo worrying about a mole or something would reduce some of the frustration with Holdo vs Poe, imo. These changes are great, I wish we could've had them on the Falcon starting to hear from people as they flew off

@EckhartsLadder I hope for the fans of it that it doesn't get the Halo: Infinite treatment. Based on other comments, it's already got new content coming, but I still cringe from remembering how promises of future updates and content just stalled out and ended up failing a great game (imo)

Marathon seems dead on arrival. The “content is coming we swear” approach doesn’t work for live service games, there’s too much to play and momentum is too important.

@coreyloses I think her points about the darkness being in us is right on, and contextually she's trying to guide Jacen to a certain conclusion. But then we get her conversations with Luke and things get weirder, imo.

@coreyloses Great video. The biggest issue I have is squaring strongly I like Jedi as giving up their own wants to open themselves to the Force's will (RotS novel Obi-Wan) and Sith seeking to bend it to their own selfish will versus Vergere's non-embodied "it's just out there" conception

@TheMrZippie I think Mon is an industry plant on this list. She's a true glup, people are just letting their love of Andor blind them. She's in RotJ for less than 2 minutes! Andor is fantastic but look at Cassian. He's in the maybe category. No way Mothma deserves to be there

i think the grim reality star wars fans have to face is that almost everyone who's not a main character in episodes 1-9 and *maybe* s1 of the mandalorian is a glup shitto to 90% of people you will talk to
