🚨Muslim lawmakers move to criminalize “Islamophobia” in Virginia After Virginia Elects Muslim Leuitenant Governor 🚨
Meet Saddam Azlan Salim, a Bengali- Muslim Democrat and first-generation immigrant from Bangladesh, who was elected to the Virginia Senate in 2023 representing the 37th district.
In January 2026, Salim introduced SB624, a bill aimed at incorporating a formal definition of "Islamophobia" into Virginia's assault and battery laws.
Here's what the bill does: It defines "Islamophobia" as "malicious prejudice or hatred directed toward Islam or Muslims." This applies even if the victim isn't actually Muslim, as long as the perpetrator targeted them based on a perceived connection to the faith. The bill also specifies that "religious conviction" explicitly includes Islam.
Additionally, it requires the Virginia Department of State Police, in consultation with the Attorney General and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, to add this definition to their hate crime reporting repository.
This comes after Virginia elected Muslim Ghazala Hashmi as their Leuitenant Governor. She was sworn in on a Quran on January 17, 2026.
You will soon be charged with a hate crime in Virginia if you speak truth about Islam.
In addition to his Islmophobia legislation, Saddam Salim also recently introduced 287(g), which Bans partnerships between ICE @ICEgov and local and state police, provides key measures to end discrimination by police during traffic stops, and stops schools from providing students' immigration info to immigration officers.

Joe Kent's @joekent16jan19 resignation this morning as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center comes after increasing scrutiny regarding him potentially leaking to Tucker Carlson @TuckerCarlson about his unmasking and a possible criminal referral by the CIA, according to a well-placed Administration source.
Kent owes his political career to Tucker, who interviewed him repeatedly on Fox News and again on his independent show when he was running for US Congress.
Unlike Tucker, though, Kent has a long track record of being pro-Israel, and he has warned about Iran attempting to assassinate Trump on multiple occasions.
This is why his resignation letter makes no sense, blaming "Israel" for the war and bizarrely claiming that Iran poses no threat to the United States.
Because Kent was one of a small number of people who would have been in a position to tip off Tucker that his communications with Iran had been intercepted, he had come under enormous pressure since Tucker's insane video was posted on Sunday.
Kent's resignation only makes sense if it's connected to Tucker.
The only major news regarding the war in the past 24 hours has been positive: Israel taking out Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.
Kent's resignation letter is clearly bullshit. There was no "pressure from Israel" to engage in military strikes on Iran.
And there's no new information regarding why President Trump decided to got to war.
The only thing that's new is Tucker's now-viral video.
Tucker created a huge headache and a terrible distraction from the war by claiming that the CIA was preparing a "foreign agents" criminal referral to the Department of Justice against Tucker.
If U.S. intelligence had intercepted communications between Tucker and Iranian officials, as Tucker indicated, then his identity likely would only be known through the process of "unmasking."
That's because identities of Americans are typically concealed, unless the identity is necessary for understanding the intelligence or relevant for criminal or counterintelligence purposes.
Few people would be in a better position to know about high-profile Americans being "unmasked" or facing possible intelligence-related criminal investigations than the Director of NCTC, which until this morning, was Kent.
This is why I'm told by my source that Kent was being pressed over Tucker's now-viral claims this weekend — claims the Administration has since denied.
I have heard from two other sources that rumors are swirling in the White House and among Trump political appointees in the Administration that Kent's resignation is directly tied to the uproar over Tucker's wild claim that he's facing possible criminal charges over communications with Iranian officials on the eve of the military strikes in Iran.
The timing of Kent's resignation is connected to recent events surrounding Tucker, not his stated reason of "Israel."

ICE had NOTHING to do with this woman’s death. She passed away THREE days after ICE encountered her.
Following her arrest by local authorities for Terroristic Threats and Harassment, Daphy Michel, an illegal alien from Haiti, was encountered by ICE and placed in removal proceedings. ICE issued her an ICE ankle monitor and she was released from ICE custody on February 27. She was released with all of her belongings, including a fully charged phone, in sunny weather in the middle of Pittsburgh, where public transport is readily available.
On March 3, ICE received a notification that her ankle monitor had been tampered with. ICE officers traveled to her last known location on the GPS system: the county medical office. Upon arrival, local staff refused to cooperate or even talk with ICE federal law enforcement. Our officers instead had to call the U.S. Marshal’s service, who were let into the building and were given the severed ankle monitor. However, staff refused to even tell the U.S. Marshals about the individual’s condition.
ICE was never given official notification of her passing, and found out about her death via the media thanks to the local county’s refusal to even have a conversation with federal law enforcement.

ICE did it again - released a detainee far from her home without notifying her family. Three days after having an ankle monitor put on by ICE, 31 year old Daphy Michel was found unresponsive at a bus station. She died later that day. Daphy was seeking asylum in the US. Her brother lives in the US and has TPS status. She had a hearing scheduled for April on her immigration case. Her brother was waiting to hear when she would be released so he could bring her home. ICE hasn’t answered questions from Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 about when Daphy arrived at the ERO Pittsburgh office, when she received the ankle monitor, how long she was in custody, and where & when she was released.
