With banking services now functioning 24×7 through digital channels, the pressure on human resources has only intensified. Despite this, the agreed outcome of a five-day workweek remains unimplemented. Bankers have honoured the settlement in both letter and spirit every working day. Policy commitments deserve the same seriousness in execution. Assurances are meaningful only when translated into outcomes. DFS has failed on fairness, transparency, and respect. @DFS_India may argue before @LabourMinistry @CLCMOLE that, as per the bipartite settlement, PLI has been released only up to Scale III. But selective interpretation today can become selective expansion can release scale IV and above any day. If DFS believes this is smart strategy, unions must respond smarter.
