@JermaineCurtis Most tournaments it’s two games on Saturday, two games on Sunday, there have been a few even in little league, where you go a third game, (usually because of odd number of entrants) Not ideal, but those rare occasions were some of the greatest days.

4 travel ball games in one day for kids is out of control. I played professional baseball for a living… and we never even did that.

@JermaineCurtis Agree, the tournament structure is a bit overkill all year round.

Some parents drove 3-5 hours today and spent hundreds of dollars… just to watch their son walk 4 times. Do this instead: Pay a local kid $20 to throw to your son for an hour instead. He’ll probably get more development from that than another travel ball weekend.

@vad3rt3sla Probably a bunch of these are rentals/company cars, fleet vehicles, and nobody really cares or uses the drunk anyways.

I don’t get why Tesla changes the Model Y Standard frunk. There is no way you save money that way. You have to re engineer that frunk, then crash test that frunk. And the money spent probably wasn’t cheap. Doesn’t make any sense to me. Not to mention it’s biggest flaw other than being smaller, it’s not a waterproof. Anything in that frunk gets wet if it rains. The only reason I can MAYBE recommend this car is the current 0% promo.

When I moved into my current house this safe was left behind. I was told it was from the original owners but it’s locked. I contacted a locksmith but he said $450 to open it. I’m curious but not $450 curious. Any ideas on how to get it open?

@Kristinartz Yes, homeroom was a shortened class just after first period, it was less than 1/2 hour I think, it was just for attendance

This umpire was calling a 9U baseball game. A player came up to bat and hit a home run. What happened next is anyone’s guess. Most are saying the umpire blew up after he lost his mind and robbed a 9 year old of a home run. What do you think the call should be? Do you think k he blew it big time or do you agree with the call?

Why aren’t gas stations also equiping EV battery chargers? Is it just because of spite? Seems like a no brainer to me… I guess you don’t want cars parked or waiting, but maybe just for quick top ups, there’s gotta be some money left on the table here. @elonmusk what say you?

I put together a travel team for almost free, couple hundred bucks to register… tournaments are 600-700 per team, for two days (3-4 games) with a field, refs etc. There definitely are flashy expensive teams who are run by coaches who make a living charging monthly fees, but even that is not “robbery” usually 300 a month, and you get two practices a week so 8 a month, not a bad deal for people who love the game.

There is no logical line that can connect the depraved rotten tooth sad man-child that I was, to 15 years later, the happy, family focused nice guy that I am today. My old self could not even imigine, the man I would become. The only thing required, is allow God to take the wheel, to give your will over to the creator. It’s not a religious thing, it’s a control thing. It’s a trust thing. God, or “natural law” or the “universe” has better plans for you than your monkey survival brain, it’s what’s killing you. I constantly have to remind myself, the world has better for me, than even I can imagine. My “plans” are lousy and shortsighted. I know this with my core, God has shown me unequivocally. @sweatystartup I coach baseball, nothing wrong with the outfield, seriously, I try to make a specialist squad of outfielders, the last line of defense. I call them the “goon squad” and they get treated like royalty.

Good rule of being a dad: Don’t let your sons waste hours and days of their lives sitting out in the outfield. If they aren’t a stud, find something else to do.

@burdell1927 @tyelon719 @TimDOES Yeah, I paid a premium for it, i do occasionally use it. I keep hearing about how people are loving FSD, my wife uses it in her m-Y, I thought EAP would be the same just without city streets. Going to research this update.

@tyelon719 @barber_btc @TimDOES If you have HW4 you shouldn't have to pay for FSD to avoid this. Tesla can bring the same driving stack and monitoring to EAP and gate it to controlled access highways. They promised to continuously upgrade EAP when they sold it for $6000.

@contractorsPOV One man’s “mental gymnastics” is another man’s common sense. Easily could have stopped anywhere along the way for a 10 minute top up in a situation like that. For sure, there’s not as many charger stations as gas stations, not yet at least.

I was telling someone about today's trip and how the Tesla Trip planner shows me getting to my destination with 10% remaining. This would be fine but the nearest supercharger is 30 miles away. It didn't account for having to get to another charger after arriving. There are slow AC chargers, but nothing that I have time to wait for. Then the conversation turned to - "you never had to do any of this mental gymnastics to plan for charging with your F-150, there's always a gas station at your destination." Which is true, I had never planned a trip with any of my other vehicles around whether or not there would be somewhere to get fuel.

So youre saying stop whining and charge a 3rd time? For a 330mi round trip day which should be achievable by using the charge at home only?
