@kommanderkarl You know. As a normy who cannot draw, and cannot afford artists often enough to bring my characters to life. AI has been a god send to me as a Roleplayer and gamer for TTRPG’s. So please accept it for what it is but support real artists when you can.

Comparing the intricate skills of photography, which demand years of practice in mastering framing, lighting, timing, and post-processing, to someone with minimal artistic background simply instructing a sophisticated, derivative AI to create art at a mere command, seems quite an oversimplification.

@DeanSpencerArt My boilerplate reply to "AI" twunts: Thinking that prompting a machine learning system to spit out images is the same as making art is like thinking that watching pornography is the same as making love.

So this is what we have to deal with as artists, we spend time and effort to create art, the particular piece that this guy stole and fed into Ai took me about a day and a half to complete, from rough sketch through to the final piece. He has stolen this piece of art from my social media, that I use to publicise my business to feed my family. This is blatant theft of my artwork, by using Ai you are normalizing this, and the destruction of artists careers, not to mention any future artists. I have not, and will never consent to someone taking my art to be 'recreated' by Ai algorithms. #fuckAiart

#ArtificialInteligence doesn't steal - it can only be inspired. Does a writer who learned to write by reading other authors can be called a plagiarist? Learning from and being inspired by other #artists and #authors is a common practice. Plagiarism specifically involves copying someone else's work without acknowledgment ;) I acknowledged :)

@danversguardian The Marvels was literally the most Disney of Disney family films and if it had been marketed as such would have been huge. It was a movie about friendship and family which is what Disney was built on.

@Areaer_Novels Most likely the algorithm found a book with the same title and it was an auto generated email. What you have should be fine.

@GOLB___ @machineiv @ChrisGordy1993 And in most cases it is the same three or four videos circulated 100,000 times. I would argue the rate of shoplifting has changed very little. The hyperamplification through social media simply creates the appearance of a crisis. As said, wage theft is a far greater problem.
