“The only ones who have immunity in this country are those who have survived the infection”. What makes situation interesting in South Africa is presence of control group who chose not to follow any restrictions nor to vaccinate. If infected, now have best immunity, apparently.

The Pres and his govt clearly doesn't understand nor appreciate how the wine industry works. The wine industry has been hit a severe blow and many smme's will have to close down permanently. Major job losses to follow. @Vinpro_za @PeterPentz

Govt continues to use a blunt instrument & ignored sound proposals from industry, with dire consequences. Cutting off our lifeline with no consideration for South Africans who face job losses and poverty as their employers struggle to make ends meet.

No mr President, you are shutting us down! Unfortunately government persistence with blunt alcohol bans is breaking down the SA Wine industry and the 265,000 employees and their families. #liquidations #nobalance #joblosses @Vinpro_za

@MichaelJordaan Meanwhile people are losing their livelihoods due to nonsensical lockdowns and ineffectiveness of the ANC government. Goes to show how serious they are about the people and economy of our country...

Significant drop in SA agricultural employment (-8% yoy in Q1) - especially Western Cape. The implication of a 16% minimum wage increase and a 19 week alcohol ban, severely hitting the wine sector who under “normal” circumstances employs 265,000 people
