Proposal--if you are here illegally and are seriously sick or injured, you may receive free medical treatment at American emergency rooms on the taxpayer dime. BUT hospitals will be required by law to notify immigration authorities so that after you are treated, you will be arrested and deported. This seems to me a fair, humane way to deal with the problem of illegal immigrants running up huge costs to hospitals through the medicaid system.

@sarahtexe I suggest a total ban on immigration for 10 years. That would allow revamping of our immigration law to require English fluency, possession of skills we NEED, clear background check and certified health exam given at point-of-entry by American physicians.

I frequently serve as a poll worker on election day in Texas. Each time a voter comes in, we are required to inquire, "Do you want your ballot in English or Spanish?" In order to vote, one must be a citizen. In order to become a citizen, one must speak English. When do we stop asking?

The Texan way of life is on life support, and the prognosis is not encouraging. My state is next door to Texas. As a neighbor, I'd like to see bold and unprecedented actions taken to remove the large invading numbers of foreigners from the state. Patriots everywhere are waiting.

While recruiting for a large electronics firm, many of imported H-1B's whose resumes reflected Master degrees were fraudulent. Their actual degrees were barely equivalent to our bachelor's degrees. The company sent them to a Texas university to finish their degrees. All the while Americans with degrees weren't considered because "they wanted too much money".

@RealCalvin1 The main issue is that Indians are flooding every Tech job posting in the US with thousands of applicants. Every time we post a job, even when we specifically say No Visa Sponsorship, it is thousands upon thousands of applicants from India.

Thanks to H-1B computer science or pretty much anything in tech is now a useless degree.

Texans, it is time for us to rise up and take back what is ours. The Republican Party will not save you. The Democratic Party will not save you. Both have sold us out. Our land is being infested by radical Islam and massive waves of Indian invasion through H-1B visas. Our culture, our jobs, and our way of life are under attack. At the same time, corrupt politicians from both sides continue to ruin Texas. Greg Abbott and most politicians in Texas (from both parties) are focused on one thing: expanding government control over our lives. Now we have massive data centers sucking up our energy and water while Texas families struggle with high electricity bills and high taxes. We must do what is necessary to take back our state. otherwise we will lose everything that our ancestors fought for in 1836. We need strong Grassroots leadership that puts God and Texas and first. If the Federal Government continues down this path of destruction and tyranny, then Texas must be prepared to do whatever is required to protect our sovereignty and our future. TRUE! Houston is the same, Harris County anyway. The Democrat County raises taxes yearly. The appraisal district raises my house tax the maximum allowed 10% every year. Unfortunately, Abbot passed a new bill allowing counties that experience a “Natural Disaster” declaration an additional 8%. So you know Harris County raised our taxes 18% the year of the last hurricane. I paid off my house, but the taxes on it make it feel like I own nothing. We are planning on moving to a Republican County within the next year. Co-workers that live out in the country and in conservative counties, love it. That’s the answer.

If you MUST move to Texas please do your research and talk to people that live here. They’re lying to so many that prices are more affordable and blah blah. I’m only speaking about Dallas and other big cities. If you move to the country you should be ok. But where I’m at (Dallas/Richsrdson) our property taxes have increased by 41.87% in the past 5 years. Our roads are shit. Construction is a constant. Dallas has corrupt leadership spending billions on unnecessary parks and trendy looking outdoor shopping strips. More apartments are going up and if they allow section 8 folks you know what to expect after that. Just do your homework. Texas isn’t all what it seems anymore. There’s a reason why myself and so many others are getting out and heading to smaller country towns.

@Amiejokes2much We moved to north DFW 30+ years ago. It has been in steep decline. Crooked politicians, unsecure voting machines, over-taxed homes poor land management, too many people with too little water, knee-deep in Indians and Muslims. Poorly run school districts. It gets worse.
