Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man. Psalm 66:5

This Easter, I invite you to look at Jesus, consider what he said and did, and ask for yourself what I believe is the most important question you will ever answer: Did he really leave behind an empty tomb? And if he did, what does that mean for you? This video was made possible and in collaboration with my friends at @ChildlikeMedia.

🚨“WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Office Members, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is SAFE and SOUND!” - President Donald J. A question for SBC pastors: Starting next fall, I'm thinking of leading a pastor cohort on some issue where Christian ethics interfaces with pastoral ministry. Or maybe a specific topic within Christian ethics applied in a narrow context (e.g., the Ethics of C.S. Lewis). Thinking something like twelve, one-hour sessions over Zoom during the weekday. There would be assigned readings (but no assignments). Capped at 15 participants. Just for pastors of all stripes. Entirely free. Would this be something of interest?

Heavenly Father, I lift up my fellow military members—many whom we personally know—who are even now engaged in combat operations. Lord, as You have trained their hands for war and their fingers for battle, I pray You would strengthen them, grant them wisdom, and show them favor so that they may succeed in their military objectives. Father, I pray for our military leaders—from the Commander in Chief to the youngest junior enlisted—as they carry the weight of countless critical decisions. Grant them clarity of mind, foresight, and steady focus. Lord, for the families here at home and abroad throughout our military community, uphold them by Your Holy Spirit amid the many anxieties they face. Comfort them, sustain them, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. And Father, I ask that these operations would be swift, that they would lead to an enduring peace, and that they would help secure a safer world for our children and for generations to come. I close this prayer by acknowledging that Jesus is our true and lasting hope, in combat and in peacetime alike. He is the Savior who has decisively defeated death and who offers life—abundant life now and eternal life forevermore. May these difficult days turn many hearts toward Jesus as their only true source of hope, help, and salvation. I pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

What it looks like to watch a Christian die well.
Hoover Institution@HooverInst

In December 2025, former US Senator @BenSasse announced that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. That's the primary topic for this @UncKnowledge conversation about mortality, faith, and what truly matters when time is short. Talking to host @P_M_Robinson, Sasse reflects on "redeeming the time"—holding ambition lightly, loving family more deliberately, and resisting the urge to make politics or professional success the center of life. The discussion also covers Sasse's thoughts on the failures of Congress; the dangers of a fragmented, attention-starved republic; the crisis of higher education; and the moral challenges of technological abundance. He speaks candidly and movingly about regret, forgiveness, prayer, and suffering—arguing that while death is a real enemy, it does not get the final word. Watch the full conversation on X:
