For clarity @BBCNews it’s actually “under 22”’as opposed to “under 21” Individuals aged 16-21 years olds will still be funded for a level 7 apprenticeship post January 2026. @AELPUK @educationgovuk

@OliBarrett @DanielPriestley It's a good idea but ... though all my kids got their CTF, unfortunately many parents weren't equipped to access the money. More than £1.7bn wasn't claimed at age 18. Needs to come with financial education for parents and children!

Anyone else think like Alex and have an answer to my question? I think the reasons teachers leave teaching tend to be the same, whichever government is in power.
