The reason ethereum:native is going to go so much higher on its next bull run is most of the market hates ETH and will end up sidelined for the meat of the move (typical prerequisit for monster bull runs) and the portion of the market that doesnt hate ETH still believes it can't hold above 5-10k.
So between the sidelinoors and early sellers it's going to have so much fuel for a continued move higher, we'll beyond that 10k level, imo.

Hyperliquid’s strategy I think is to simply eat the rest of the world (see VALR) and basically say to the CFTC in a year “so why exactly should Americans get significantly worse prices than international users ?”

from my pov, their approach makes sense too as a longer-term bet, but the obvious downside is that it could be a very very long road in crypto, where everything changes insanely fast. trying to shape regulation in your favor can take years with no guaranteed outcome (and even if you eventually win, plenty of caveats could still remain) my point is that if you want to move fast and compete for US users, you probably don’t have years to spend fighting legal battles through letters and filings
