Completely agree. Generic “AI for small business” is the losing move. Vertical systems that use AI to quote faster, follow up automatically, schedule tighter, and make crews more productive will win. And the AI will be invisible. 😉 Building WashOps for exterior cleaning right now.

Exactly 5 years ago, I took this pic in our first-ever office. We were building a social music app at that time. Really hard times, but somehow, so many great memories. Keep pushing. A lot of things changed, but @JannisRingwald and I were always, and will always be, building together.

Making a durable social app is a once-per-decade black swan event. Builders in this space know that you cannot measure a founder’s talent by whether they created one of these outliers—but rather it’s the craftsmanship and decisions they demonstrated with each of their attempts.
