Hi @NIRA_Ug I hope this finds you well. I’m here to file a complaint and I hope you get back to me since i couldn’t get any help from the necessary officials avenues. In 2017,I registered myself for a National ID just like anyone else, and as you always communicate,three months past and didn’t get my ID as I was told it was not yet out. First forward to 2018,I was still told my ID was not yet out still and I let it go since in that time i didn’t think I needed so much,So in in 2020,I went back to your offices in Bushenyi and I was told my ID photo was not clear,therefore I needed to rectify by redoing the application process which i did and took the necessary documents to your offices and was still told to wait for rectification from the head office. Three months later,I travelled back to Bushenyi to collect my ID and I was told it hadn’t been rectified,and that went on for about other two years with this back and forth chats to your offices still getting the same information. So in 2024,i visited your offices at Kololo and was told my issue had been resolved,so I had to travel to Bushenyi to collect my ID after two weeks but did so after two months,and was still told my ID was not yet out ! So at the start of 2025,I visited your office in Bushenyi again and was still told it hadn’t been rectified but for the second time,I was advised to go back to Kololo to be helped and I did so but was not helped. In late last year when I went back to Bushenyi,I was advised to renew my registration for me to get an ID which I did and was told to wait for three months later,it’s now April 8th and I can reliably say I’ve not received any information regarding my ID. And almost 10 years down the road,I walk around without any form of identification as a Ugandan and on top of it all,I’ve missed out on very many things because of having no national ID which has since been an inconvenience.
