All of us who served under Clinton and/or Obama remember what it was like to receive lawful orders that we found reprehensible and which violated our personal political beliefs. But we never once pretended those orders were “unlawful,” we followed our oaths, and we executed those orders to the best of our abilities. It is because we all lived through those dark days with our honor intact that we find the current words of these treasonous Democrat veterans in Congress so despicable.

I took an oath to defend the Constitution and to follow only lawful orders. As did @RepJasonCrow, @SenatorSlotkin, @SenMarkKelly, @RepDeluzio, @RepGoodlander, and @RepHoulahan. The fact that this was “lost” on the President — someone who never wore the uniform — is not surprising. But his attacks on veterans who have continued their service to this country fuels political violence, and we must condemn it. Silence from veterans like JD Vance and Pete Hegseth tells you who’s truly forgotten their oath.
