@Wikipedia I am so sick of these bloated and space wasting ui's everything has now. The old ui was fine, it was nice, clean, and compact. Stop peddling objectively worse interfaces as better because they are "modern".

@josch62 Yep, it's running and the service account has the correct permissions. How does the task sequence communicate with the MP to run the server commands?

@bb8700c Perhaps far fetched, but is the service 'OnevinnTSCommandExecutor' running?

@josch62 Are you aware of any issues with tscommander and the latest version of MECM? I'm on version 2207 with the hotfix rollup from 11/7/22 installed.Serve rcommand scripts no longer work for me, even after a reinstall and verifying permisisons. See nothing in event viewer

@josch62 Alright thanks! Probably means there's something up with our install then. Do you know which logs I could check to see where the issue is? I've checked smsts.log on the computers, and the event viewer for tscommander has no entries for an attempt to run a script.

@SipeedIO I'd definitely buy a laptop in the 200-300$ range, 500$ is a bit much. I'd take 1 or 2 over the 3rd, a 2k display on a laptop is a tad excessive and I'd prefer a smaller size.

Which #RISCV laptop do you perfer? 1. Cheaper is better, <200$, 4GB DDR, 10~12inch 2. Cost Performance, ~300$, 8GB DDR, 14~15.6inch 3. The Powerful the better, ~500$, 16GB DDR, 2K LCD, Metal Body.

@jhamby Isn't there an option in open firmware to switch to LE mode? Did it ever have a functional purpose for powermacs?

@runlevel__5 @phoronix That's a real bummer. I've been wanting to get an a380 for the encode and decode capabilities for my blackbird. Guess my rx5300 will have to do for now.

Learn Intel ARC A770 the hard way. It’s seems to me i915 module does not support anything but X86 on Linux. I try to hack KConfig to force it to compile but there are a bit of dependencies. I hope the future driver would remove the coupling. cc @phoronix

I wonder how feasible it would be to build a coprocessor for non-x86 systems to speed up emulation of x86 programs. It’d need to be tightly integrated probably, and probably wouldn’t be very practical, but would it be *possible*? @mpc7500v2 @RaptorCompSys

@CRC32_ae80d4d3 @diagprov @RaptorCompSys My plan with my blackbird is to use one of those cheap pcie to usb cards with riser cards that crypto miners like to use. It's not fast but works for my purposes, I did make sure it had more than 1 upstream lane.
