Trump has endorsed Ken Paxton for US Senate in Texas. Paxton was impeached by his own party for bribery and corruption, said the Uvalde school shooting was God’s plan, and gave a child sex abuser only a 60-day jail sentence.

Thomas Massie: "I vote with Republicans 91% of the time. And the 9% I don't, they're taking up for pedophiles, starting another war, or bankrupting our country." An absolute mic drop. 🎤⬇️

🚨 JUST IN — Thomas Massie concedes the race: “I would've come out sooner, but I had to call my opponent and concede.” “And it took a while to find Ed Gallrein in Tel Aviv.” That line is going to detonate across Washington. Massie just turned his concession speech into a missile aimed directly at the flood of outside money and foreign policy influence that consumed this race. The most expensive House primary in U.S. history ends with one final message: This wasn’t just Kentucky voting. This was the political establishment making an example out of someone who refused to fall in line.

@bbbassets @GunGnome Me too and me too! But I think the restaurant proprietors have been yelled at by fat-conscious people and are afraid to let people accidentally order it. They don’t know that I know exactly what it is.

Very challenging forecast today, but ingredients are trying to combine over the next few hours for the genesis of our severe weather threat. 60% chance of a severe thunderstorm watch being issued soon for the Hill Country. Storms near San Angelo could grow in scale #atxwx

i never met a Mormon irl until one weekend my husband and i were bored and he said hey we should go to Hill Cumorah and i was like what is that. and he was like it’s where Joseph Smith got the gold plates and started Mormonism and it’s 25 minutes from our house. so i was like yeah whatever. we thought it was literally just a hill but no. it’s a pilgrimage site. there’s a Building. we gotta go in, he says. absolutely not. he insists. we go in. i am wearing a miniskirt and fishnets at the Very Serious Pilgrimage site. they want to give us a tour. they insist. husband is thrilled. they clearly view him as the patriarch and me as some sort of Fallen Woman. there’s a room with a giant Jesus where we sit first. then there’s a museum. then a shockingly high budget reenactment film of the birth of mormonism. then they finally let us go to the hill and there was a monument covered with the most ladybugs i’ve ever seen in my life. all the women are wearing floor length skirts and i am dressed like Elvira. anyway when we got back down to the center they gave us both our own books of Mormon and bookmarked pages for us and that was my first and only experience with Mormons.

Everyone tells you about Germany's efficiency. The punctuality. The engineering. The order. Nobody warns you about the other things. The things you only discover after you've already moved there. 10 of them. Right here. 🧵🇩🇪

@TheKanehB China had 500 million in the 40's with a one child rule on place. That is one child to replace every 2 people for over 80 years. Not possible they tripled their population. China lies about everything.

China’s population is 1.4B people, America has 320m people. China has been under a surveillance state for decades- 600M surveillance cameras, they can identify citizens w facial recognition w a 98.5% accuracy and they record every move by their citizens Yet China only has 450 data centers What data is the US gathering that would justify the US to need 5,000 data centers - 15x what China has, with only a quarter of the population?

Heartwarming story 🥹🥹🥹 I just want to clarify one thing: I am a truck driver, I am 58 years old, and I have no connection with animals at all. One day, my 73-year-old neighbor called me and asked if I could take care of his dog due to a family emergency. For the sake of humanity, I agreed. I then got two dogs named Biscuit and Lou. Biscuit's ears are so big that whenever he wants, he often steps on his feet and falls over. Lou is a very smart 10-year-old. Initially, I didn't pay much attention to them because I didn't like animals. Biscuit has a very calm nature. Lou is very punctual; he usually follows the clock. He would wake up at 7 am, eat, then have his second meal at 2 pm, go for a walk at 5 pm, eat again at 7 pm, and sleep at 9 pm. Sometimes I would wake up late, and my wife would remind me that he was waiting for me to feed him. Other times, I would wake up early and check the time, and he would always be awake by 7 am. Even when I would set his schedule late at night, he would sit and wait. After 6 weeks, I received a call from his owner asking how long I could keep the dog. He also mentioned that he might be separated from his father, and I never thought that would happen. He was crying as he spoke. Then, after 14 weeks, I got a call from the owner's son, who told me that his father had passed away and asked if I could take care of the dog. I told them that I was already keeping a dog, and they agreed. Today, I am retired, and I am spending my retirement life with them.

I went to my uncle's funeral this weekend. He had a great life. He was a fairly well-known researcher and his work had been cited over 450k times. The most profound thing to me is even though he died in his mid-80s, my cousin found his laptop open to a word file with text for his next book that he was working on. To be so excited about your work until the day you die is incredible and something he would’ve wished for everyone.

@GunGnome As a white woman, I’m not allowed to order pork belly at my local Chinese restaurant unless I play the “my husband is Asian” card. “You don’t want that. Lots of fat.” “I know it is.” “Very fatty.” “Yes, I know.” They must have gotten yelled at a lot by people who didn’t know.

@MartinHStrobel1 @txgermanbre Sometimes society benefits & other times society only gets the downsides. I think lots of things should be free & available to all but many people equate free with lack of value or of infinite supply which is usually a false assumption.

I cried. I lost my mom to cancer when I was 10 in 2008. We almost had to declare bankruptcy. My dad had to go into a debt restructuring plan for years. He got stuck with her student loans & can’t pay them off. Then the layoffs continually happened to him

Friendly reminder, you don’t get to move to Texas, claim to be a conservative and then lecture TEXANS, born and raised, on what TEXANS should do. Lecture TEXANS who we should vote for, because YOU, a relocate, says so. Your ego needs checked, full stop.

I ran a psychological experiment of my brain on my AI usage patterns. I’m presenting that data tomorrow. I think it’s the reason why many inside AI including myself brace it but the public does not. We need to stop thinking like neurodivergent nerds and start understanding neurotypicals whom have a point here.

There is a serious problem with this new generation. Former Google CEO encouraged students to embrace Ai at the 2026 University of Arizona Commencement Ceremony, and was met with a stadium full of boo’s. You heard that right, these kids are embracing the permanent underclass.
