I really fear that we are on the same path. Another week another 2 games Abandoned, I struggle every week to find refs to cover games taking up to 10-12 hours a week, only for them to take abuse. What's the point 😔

I believe this would be a step in the right direction to help stop abuse!! Things need to change and ASAP @LancashireFA @Manchester_FA I really hope referees get more support from our football governing bodies otherwise we will have no referees left!!!!!!

We are absolutely disgusted to hear about the incident involving one of our referees, volunteers and friend. There is no place for this in football and I hope the football authorities and police deal with the accordingly! Speedy recovery bradders!
