🚨 I was almost taken hostage in Cuba... I went to Cuba to document the humanitarian crisis and show life under 60+ years of communism and now amid the US blockade. Once I landed, they seized all my cameras except my iPhone and had intelligence agents following me all day until my security noticed their spies tailing us to the hotel where they waited all night for us to come down. Under communism there is no free speech, and those who show the reality or speak up are imprisoned. Me going without a planned Cuban government guide nearly got me and my security taken hostage or imprisoned. The situation in Cuba is much worse than anyone knows.

SECRETARY RUBIO: The blackouts in Cuba have nothing to do with us. They’re having blackouts because they have equipment from the 1950s in their grid that has never been maintained or upgraded because their leaders are incompetent.

NOW - Trump on reports that U.S. allowed a Russian oil tanker go to Cuba: "We don't mind having somebody get a boat load because they need to survive... I'd prefer letting it in, whether it's Russia or anybody else, because the people need heat and cooling."

90% of Cuba's economic problems are due to communist policies, not the embargo. Cuba has been a hellhole for over 60 years. The US embargo didn't do that. Your regime did.

SECRETARY RUBIO: Cuba’s economy doesn’t work. It has survived on subsidies from the Soviet Union and now from Venezuela. They don’t get subsidies anymore so they’re in a lot of trouble.
