@Matt_Pinner Rail fares, though being disabled I do get a discount by buying, yes buying a disabled persons railcard. I try and go regularly but rarely stay as hotels are pricey, stayed overnight at the end of Feb, 1st time since 2019

I wonder how many "customers" will leave @MotabilityOps when their contract is up for renewal? With the new rules coming into force from 1st July, I'm giving it some serious thought. Reducing the allowed mileage from 20k to apparently 10k per year is no good to me at all

So now @UKLabour have decided that disabled drivers, that naturally do more mileage, are to be penalised if they get a car from @Motability by reducing the allowed mileage from 60k to 30k over 3 years, then the charges for any extra miles has been increased significantly.

While I was in Japan, I came across a film I had never seen before called Showa Camera Film ASA 400. It is meant to be used at night. So I loaded it up, the results did not disappoint. Another era in the present. Kyushu, Japan 2026

I was enthralled with an exhibition of LS Lowry's casual sketches on the backs of envelopes. I happily took note of the Pendlebury, Lancs address and the Salford, Lancs PO stamp. Before the grey bureaucratic 'Greater Manchester' palaver of course. Salford
