I think everything points to the end of Brian's time at Bristol City in the very near future. From personal issues to the impending structural changes of a new SD and recruitment department. I will try and remember Brian the player and Brian the co-commentator. To be fair, much as I criticise the bloke and don't particularly like him or the way he goes about things, it is true that he loves this club. I think he's been a dreadful TD and his remit leading recruitment and overseeing the academy has been a litany of errors. Nepotism, personal grudges playing out in the open and a series of unprofessional comments in a public setting. But it's not his fault he's been over-promoted by the same bloke twice. It's not his fault that his boss places more value on friendships than competence. He has done well for himself at the very least. When the time comes, and I do think it's close, I will wish him well. I hope in time we can, as a fanbase, look past his post playing career and value his contribution on the pitch. (And in the comms box, where his support of the young ones was always infectious and enjoyable). It'd be nice if in 10 years or so he's brought onto the pitch to a rendition of "tinman is a shithead". (Someone bring out the make him cry tweet for a "gotcha"...)

I genuinely believe we could be okay with an Eile - Pring back 2 in a 4231. Both very mobile. Pring has played central in a back 4 in the the past. Press high and play a more safe system that most teams use. I would like a free agent CB in though. But we are better than this

Team lost its heart in January during the transfer window and heard from people that I trust that Vyner and MOL leaving all at once was huge. Having zero local pride and accountability to local people will soften a team pretty quickly.
