Every day do at least one good thing to a stranger; help them cross the road, give them money if they are homeless, smile when they are having a tough day and listen to them if they are in pain or anguish. Be a #humanitarian not an ordinary #human !

I don't know any digital nomad who ever did crime and I know probably a lot in my 10+ years Like literally I can't think of one story I know lots that became victim of crime when traveling though, got robbed etc I got burglared ironically in 2014 at home coming back from DN'ing when immigrants in Netherlands broke into my parents house and stole everything while I was staying there (MacBooks, iPhones, jewelry)

Do nomads "ruin the safe and friendly culture", or do they spend money in a different country. You could argue about damaging the local economy because of a possibly different purchasing power, but what does it have to do with friendliness and safety? Digital nomads won't rob you if you walk at night near a train station lol

@jinijane_ You seem to pick the wrong men. My libido is very fine and I am 56 but then it depends on your relationship and who you are with - in terms of attraction and chemistry

Let’s be honest about the résumé here. The United States has not won a war since 1945. Korea: stalemate. Vietnam: fled. Iraq: created ISIS. Afghanistan: handed the keys back to the Taliban after twenty years and a few trillion dollars. That is not a winning streak. That is a participation trophy collection of weaknesses. Oh, and 1945? They needed a formal invitation. Germany declared war on America. Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. The US did not ride in on principle – it got dragged in because refusing would have looked embarrassing. Three years of sitting it out while Britain bled, Canada crossed oceans, and the rest of the Allies held the line. By the time American boots hit Normandy, the back of the Wehrmacht had already been broken on the Eastern Front by the Soviets at a cost of twenty million lives. The US arrived at a table that others had set, ate well, then spent the next eighty years telling everyone they won the dinner. So yes. Keep the lectures about European dependency coming. Just maybe check the scorecard first.

@Irenezhao_ Not a bad list Irene. Problem with Singapore is the intense heat all year round - no seasons and lacking historical footprints as most of it has been wiped out since I was born there.

Singapore is the best country in the world I like it all: 🇸🇬 Culture: Joining a 45-minute queue because "if there is a line, it must be good." 🇸🇬 People: Professional complainers who will still defend the country to the death if a tourist joins in. 🇸🇬 Hawker food: Sweating under a plastic fan to eat a $5 Michelin-starred chicken rice 🇸🇬 Safety: Using a $2,000 iPhone to reserve seat at a food court. 🇸🇬 Efficiency: Touching down at Changi and being home before the flight crew has even left the plane. Name a better country, I’ll wait

The downfall of America is very real Profits over people mindset will kill this great country. Every American thinks it’s interesting that I moved to Spain🇪🇸 but no one would consider it The only play for the US any longer is to run ur biz out of it. DO NOT live there. Quality of life is hanging by a thread

American shows that Hersheys Chocolate Bars have changed textures “Guys, I don't think chocolate's supposed to look like this. Why is it so like elasticy? — It's like slime — this is fake” Hersheys has made major changes to their formula, including changing replacing cocoa butter with cheaper vegetable oils like palm oil, shea oil and sunflower oil

@FrazierKay perhaps Kay, than you make up for the rest of it all year round when it is pretty dire. I prefer the Spanish weather and if we have a hot Summer, I seek cooler climes.

Let me be honest about Dubai. No income tax. Zero. You keep everything you earn. Safest country on earth - Numbeo 2025. Crime index 16. London is 45. Paris is 50. Sun 365 days a year. The city never sleeps. Infrastructure that makes European capitals look like they’re still in 2005. You can build a company in a free zone with 100% foreign ownership and zero corporate tax on most structures. World-class hospitals. Best malls. Restaurants from every corner of the planet. You want a Michelin-starred dinner at midnight - done. Every major crypto exchange, fund, and Web3 company is setting up here. The ecosystem is real. And the people? 200 nationalities living in the same city. Nobody cares where you’re from. Only what you’re building. People ask me why I came back here after the recent situation. The question should be - why would I leave? There is no better city on earth right now for someone who wants to build, earn, and actually live well. That’s not marketing. That’s just the reality of living here. 🇦🇪

The European Union is waking up to news that the Iranian regime has missiles that can reach the whole of Western Europe. It should say THANK YOU to the United States and Israel for destroying Iran’s nuclear weapons program and obliterating its ballistic missile industry.

@GuillemBalague @LaLiga Guillem you can't compare La Liga with the EPL as they have certainly more games in the EPL and don't have a Xmas break. Compare apples with apples instead of pears.

So @LaLiga has managed yet again to do exceptionally well in Europe Six teams in the quarters. No other league has been that successful Still the league with the biggest amount of European titles this century (52 for 33 of the PL and 14 of Serie A) The fact that it is is the most competitive domestic league in Europe (with regularly the shortest point difference between top and bottom sides) helps. Having to get close to Real Madrid and Barcelona, the two biggest clubs in the world, makes everyone better. And it also helps the clever usage of money and control of finances, the focus on match understanding and the continuously rich production of the quarry of players #Vamos #LaLiga

@DaveKeating Spain is not smaller than Germany, the Kingdom of Spain has been sleeping, but it is on the Rise. It is the only growing European Country. On the other hand, Germany is sinking and fast. I believe the difference is their leaders. Viva Sanchez! Viva España! No mas guerras!

This was the first time the leader of Spain and the leader of Germany met since the latter insulted the former by not defending him in the Oval Office. Sanchez strode right up to confront 🇩🇪Merz, who apparently didn't call the 🇪🇸PM after the Oval Office incident because he 'had the wrong phone number'. The conversation looked tense, even if there were smiles initially. In the background was Irish leader Micheál Martin, who could have given Merz some lessons on how to defend your fellow Europeans to Trump. Earlier in the week on St Patricks Day he defended 🇬🇧PM Keir Starmer while in the Oval Office, after Trump again attacked the British prime minister. It's hard to imagine that Starmer would have done the same for Martin. Some of the leaders of Europe's smaller countries may have something to teach the leaders of Europe's large countries about dignity, self-respect and European solidarity.

The biggest fumble in business ever might be Philips spinning off ASML, TSMC and NXP Philips co-founded ASML in 1984, then co-founded TSMC in 1987, then they founded NXP They sold each of them for short term profits in the 2000s ASML is now worth $545B TSMC is worth $1.76T NXP is worth $50B Philips today is worth just $27B If they'd never sold, Philips would be the largest company in the EU today, worth $650B Philips CEO Cor Boonstra called it "making money with the success of the past" 🤡
