Something in macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 causes the CMD+ESC key combo to get hijacked. Wasn't happening before the update. Edit your keyboard shortcuts and disable "Game Overlay" under Mission Control to fix. A plugin in Jetbrains IDE uses this shortcut or I wouldn't have noticed.

INTRODUCING FIZZY Have you noticed that every issue and idea tracking tool you loved slowly morphed into boring, sluggish, corporate bloatware? Trello put on 40 pounds of cruft. Jira started charging by the migraine. Asana tried to become everything to everyone. GitHub Issues slipped into a steady state of decline. The whole category is a 20 car pileup of complexity. Time to route around that mess. Today we’re introducing Fizzy. Kanban as it should be, not as it has been. Fizzy is a fresh take on cards and columns, with a few twists, human-nature inspired defaults, and a vibrant interface that’s the opposite of the bland and boring software the industry has been flinging at you for years. Kanban has been around since the 1940s, and Trello brought it into the mainstream in 2011. Since then, some version of column-based kanban-style organization has found its way into any collaboration tool worth its salt. But most have over salted the dish. What was simple is now complicated. What was clear is now cluttered. What just worked now takes work. Fizzy presses reset, reconsiders what really matters, and presents a refreshing way to kanban that just feels right. It’s friendly, colorful, straightforward, and fast as hell. We still use Basecamp for our big, intensive projects, but lately we’ve been reaching for Fizzy to run the smaller ones. It’s perfect for tracking bugs, issues, and ideas, and it shines for lighter, self-contained workflows like podcasts or video production. We didn’t expect it, but Fizzy’s so good it might even cannibalize Basecamp on the lighter side of project management. We’d be thrilled. How much is it? It’s not much for so much. Everyone gets 1000 cards for free. Beyond that, we’ll host your account for just $20/month for unlimited cards and unlimited users. One price for all and everything. No tiers, no “contact us.” No pricing chart at all — just a price tag, like on a pair of jeans. And here’s a surprise... Fizzy is open source! If you’d prefer not to pay us, or you want to customize Fizzy for your own use, you can run it yourself for free forever. Have a great idea? Submit a PR to contribute to the code base and improve the product for everyone. It’s the best of all worlds. No excuses. Every idea comes back around. It’s time for take two on kanban. Fizzy’s our hat in the ring. Let’s make this platform insanely great, together. Come on in! Visit fizzy.do

@bcorcoran @aarondfrancis yes, i have seen them offer prorated -- but it's 65 on top and that would be a bad prorating if it's just for the rest of the calendar year?

@aarondfrancis yeah, not sure on the $48 one-time (maybe a first year bonus rate) the costco visa rewards stacks as well (im not a credit card maximalist but it's easy to remember 'this is the costco card' and worth it if you shop/gas at costco regularly)

@levelsio 95 had the juice though. Win 3.11 was a shitty experience even back then. 95 is just better in every way. 98SE was the goat before XP

Windows 95 gets way more RTs than Windows 3.11 so as I expected it resonates much more Even if it's a non-profit project it's fun to make it have the most impact possible And it seems we're in that 30 year retro cycle and that's exactly Windows 95 now (30y ago) Also lots of games ppl remember I can run on there like Age of Empire while most games don't run on Win 3.11 or DOS (cause 16 vs 32-bit) Which is why I wanna get it running so everyone can use it in their browser on pieter.com like I did with Windows 3.11!!
@levelsio@levelsio

Internet works on Windows 95!!!!! Can visit websites now with MSIE 3 Just had to set the network card IRQ to 10 and I/O base to 300 Yeehawwwww 🤠

guys! rapid streaming of barcode/QR code scanning in PHP 🤯 it's wild and beautiful coming to @nativephp for Mobile v2 (available now to Max license holders!)
Shane Rosenthal@ShaneDRosenthal

🚨🚨🚨 We just finished a native QR + Barcode scanner in PHP. Real native camera pipeline… triggered directly from Laravel. No Flutter. No React Native. No JS glue. This ships in @nativephp v2 — November 2025. And it changes everything for PHP on mobile. Scan tickets. Check inventory. Build POS systems. Your Laravel app can now interact with the real world. #php #laravel #nativephp #androiddev #mobiledev #qrcode #barcodescanner #software #programming #buildinpublic #opensource #bifrost

@swyxio You would think by now they’d have some heuristic style detection of bad behavior. Most of the 253k requests from the same fingerprint? Cause that’s totally normal…

Tech Twitter has a lack of grass touching problem. In the past 2 days, I have blocked 15+ people for coming at me sideways for: 1. Liking a popular JavaScript framework 2. Not using a certain VPS provider 3. Write HTML in 1997, 1998, and 1999

@tiggr_ Are there plans to address the constant party issues? We have to back out to lobby almost every game either because someone got "left behind" (stuck at game-end screen on previous match) or we get put into different games. Ppl get left behind in lobby too.

Back from PTO this week. I've been digesting feedback, issues & the general state of things (also playing alot to see things from the player POV) - top issues are clear & fixes being pushed into a patch coming your way very soon. But what outside of this irks you with BF6 now?

@TeamRadious @Jakethatguy1999 @tiggr_ We dont need a velocity nerf, we need a drop nerf. Currently you can’t use the scope markings (even on the RPG) at all, because there’s hardly any drop in this game below 300m

@Jakethatguy1999 @tiggr_ Sniping in mp will be fine and balanced when sweetspot goes away, range finder attachment cost is doubled or trippled and snipers bullet velocity gets 20-30% nerf so it requires a little bit of skill to shoot someone.

@PovilasKorop Without the try/catch, that exception would bubble up. These two are catching not primary exceptions, but merely exceptions in the "http log" effort, which makes it look like they don't want errors in running the http log to bubble up and cause the actual core code to fail.

Please explain smth to me. I recently saw this code in some Laravel package internals. Repeating try-catch statements, catching regular Exception, with nothing useful in the "catch" block. With comments "silence is golden". (written by AI? not sure) But... WHY? Is it worth creating try-catch when you don't do ANYTHING in the catch? If some exception happens, then Laravel should handle it, or you override that handling with custom exceptions. I even created a full course (link in the reply) to explain WHEN to use exceptions and what useful can you do then (logging, returning different results, etc). But cases like this one kinda trigger me. Do I misunderstand something, or these snippets would be cleaner WITHOUT try-catch at all?

@levelsio @FellowProducts Every single coffee grinder i’ve ever used does this. It has more to do with static electricity than anything else. With my grinder, some people ground the plastic cup with foil tape, lol.
