Shivaji Maharaj and Bengaluru Those who hate Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj just to break Hindu unity don't even possess an iota of knowledge about him. Shivaji Maharaj was not merely a warrior king, he was the living embodiment of Hindu resistance, dharma, and sovereignty. Even his step-brother Venkoji built the historic Kadu Malleshwara Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva as Mallikarjuna) in 1669 in Bengaluru's Malleshwaram area, when it was still a dense forest ('Kadu' means forest in Kannada). Shivaji extended his protection and patronage to this sacred temple, granting it the revenue of a village as a holy offering and issuing a strong inscription warning against any desecration. Ignorance fuels their hatred. Truth exposes it. #ChhatrapatiShivajiMaharaj #Bengaluru #KaduMalleshwaraTemple

Ajjamada Devaiah, from Kodagu belonging to the elite No. 1 “Tigers” Squadron, flying the Mystère IVA Fighter-Bomber. On September 7, 1965, Devayya was on standby for a strike mission targeting Sargodha, Pakistan’s most fortified airbase. When one pilot dropped out, he stepped in unflinching, unheralded. Intercepted by a PAF F-104 Starfighter piloted by Flt Lt Amjad Hussain, Devayya’s slower Mystère was damaged. Yet, in a stunning counterattack, he struck the Starfighter, forcing Hussain to eject. Devayya’s aircraft, low on fuel and battered, crash-landed in Pakistani territory. His body was later found by villagers near Sargodha. For years, his fate remained unknown. It was only through Pakistani accounts and British author John Fricker’s commissioned history that the IAF learned of his heroism. In 1988, 23 years later, Devayya was awarded the Maha Vir Chakr, India’s second-highest wartime gallantry award. He remains the only IAF officer to receive it posthumously. Devayya is revered alongside legends like Field Marshal Cariappa and General Thimayya. In Madikeri, the private bus stand circle bears his name, a civic homage to a silent sentinel of the skies.

Before films like Dhurandhar told us stories of bravery, real heroes lived them. At just 16, Saraswathi Rajamani disguised herself as a boy, risked her life, and even took a bullet to save Subhas Chandra Bose. While many followed Mahatma Gandhi’s path, she chose her own. A forgotten hero of India’s freedom struggle—her story deserves to be remembered, shared, and celebrated. #InspiringIndia #UnsungHeroes #IndianHistory #WomenInHistory #Dhurandhar [Dhurandhar, Dhurandhar 2, Indian Freedom Fighters, Saraswathi Rajamani Story, Unsung Women Heroes Of India, INA Rani Of Jhansi Brigade, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose History]

A 1000 year old temple near Silk Board, Bengaluru This temple isn’t just “another old temple” - it’s one of the oldest surviving temples in Bengaluru, dating back to the 9th–10th century (Chola period). One of the earliest stone inscriptions mentioning “Bengaluru” was found here. 📍Shri Panchalinga Nageshwara Temple, Begur

BENGALURU: THE CITY BEFORE THE CITY I wasn’t there. None of us really were in that exact moment... but these old photos hit straight in the feels 😢 Wide empty roads you could actually breathe on, lakes sparkling everywhere, trees hugging every corner, a peaceful dairy right on Brigade Road... No traffic chaos, no 2-hour commutes, no endless Slack notifications or standup meetings. Just people living slowly, filter kaapi in hand, evening walks that actually felt like freedom. This was Bengaluru before it became everyone's Silicon Valley dream... before the rush swallowed the romance. Somewhere in these faded frames, old Bangalore still lives — in memories, in stories our grandparents tell, in the part of us that misses the quiet. 🥹 Namma Bengaluru forever... before the world claimed it.❤️

From sleeping in a crematorium with just ₹21 to training India’s biggest cricket stars — this is the incredible journey of Raghavendra Dwivedi. Once a young boy chasing his cricket dream in Hubli, fate had other plans. Today, his 150 kmph throwdowns help players like Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma prepare for the world stage. An unsung hero of Indian cricket, Raghu proves that sometimes the biggest champions are the ones behind the scenes. #UnsungHero #CricketInspiration #NeverGiveUp #IndianCricket #ICCWorldCup [Cricket Inspiration, Raghu Cricket Throwdown Specialist, Team India Practice Nets, Inspirational Cricket Story, India Wins T20 World Cup]
