If I owned an airline, I'd probably try to come up with something better than "Hey, we canceled your flight so now you're just stuck in an airport 3,000 miles from home, but don't worry, we'll refund the amount you paid for your ticket three months ago, which obviously won't be anywhere near enough to buy a NEW ticket to get yourself home on a more reliable airline."

@bdfagan Of note, 86% of Israel’s drinking water is from desalination and 5% of their agricultural water is from desalination. 85-90% of its agricultural water is actually from highly-treated wastewater. California and Arizona need to start working toward this model.

2/3rds of the nations fruits and nuts and 1/3rd of the nation’s vegetables are grown in California using that water.
CA’s population uses less than 10% of all the water CA gets.
80% of CA’s water is used for agriculture that feeds all the families who complain that lake Powell is too low

Doesn't invalidate my point. If it's that vitally important that California has water, then we should be investing in resources to ensure they have that water from multiple sources. The fact that those other sources means less diverting water from other states could be seen as a side benefit.

I am extremely concerned about the recent reports regarding several children in Ladera Ranch who have been diagnosed with the same rare cancer.

California’s water problem is everyone’s water problem.
California produces over a third of the nation’s vegetables and over 2/3s of the nations fruits and nuts.
The complaint about CA’s water gets lumped into the rest of the (justified) CA complaints. But CA’s water is being used to feed your family.

I think the day Trump won in 2016 was the day everyone's brains were reprogrammed to accept insanity as reality, on both sides.
In 2015, the idea of Trump being president was insane. Then it happened. We got used to it.
Back then, declassified docs proving aliens would have shaken the world. Now we have them, nobody cares.
Back then, an assassination attempt on POTUS with no details on the shooter would have caused outrage. Today? Normal.
Back then, the Jeffrey Epstein files and implications against household names would have meant something. Today? Brushed under the rug.
Declassified MKUltra? Our government did that to us? No big deal.
Our brains got reprogrammed. Now the most insane thing imaginable happens and we go "huh, wild" and scroll on. If an election was truly stolen, nobody will do anything about it.
