Lotta people using Claude to build software that already exists
Ryan Leachman@RG_Leachman
I asked Claude to build my daughter an app that plugs into our piano, can read live key strokes, can show her sheet notes and key view and ends with a Guitar Hero style game. All while giving progressively harder songs. Today she’s using It and crushing It.

@theColtonBatts @LoneHillJazz @Noahdeekush @Liamjsm You still can't take credit for another person's repo by forking it. That's not how that works.
English

@LoneHillJazz @Noahdeekush @Liamjsm I'm not talking about using Git for version control. I'm talking about using open source repos dude
English

@Noahdeekush @Liamjsm lol ...the app that his daughter is using in the video

@djcows A human by themselves can do everything you can and more without AI

@YashSolanki_ @_devJNS Usually the developers let you know by bragging about it for some reason
English

@IBergwiesel @TheDisproof It's not healthy. And it's harmful to the environment.

Climate change denier and fake scientist Jonathan Cohler wrote a AI assisted "paper" with more flaws than a 20 dollar diamond. It is debunked in full here thebulletin.org/2026/03/a-clar…
English

@luisbrudna @predict_addict And become an empty husk of a human who writes prompts for 4-5 years while AI does the work?
English

@bdglacierguy @predict_addict The experimental research process is far more important. What truly matters is the data collection process.

There is something about using an AI-generated image to talk about record breaking heat that is just so.... *chefs kiss*
Chase Thomason@ChaseThomason
84° in Salt Lake City today—an all-time March record high. Feeling a lot more like June out there. 🥵
English

@bdglacierguy @Thackej @AndyMasley yes, which includes making creative decisions to actualize your ideas into a tangible medium. you're slowly starting to get the point
English

If I wanted to let every last major contributor to climate change completely 100% off the hook, this wildly popular talking point would be how I'd do it. 70k likes on this.

can u guys stop using ai
English

@bdglacierguy @Thackej @AndyMasley also: choosing the location from where to place the camera is equivalent to prompting the image (or editing it in post using img2img to get a different angle), and you're leaving out studio photography and composite photography in your definition
English

@Armel081 @Thackej @AndyMasley I imagine explaining art to you is like explaining astrophysics to an astrologist. Your brain is fried, Armel. If you need AI to make your visions for your, you're a terrible artist.
English

@bdglacierguy @Thackej @AndyMasley photographers edit the lighting of their images all the time, and what I've been describing is literally the factors that go into making an AI image, including post processing and editing which is a similar workflow to editing a photograph.
English

@bdglacierguy @Thackej @AndyMasley so you do agree that it's making creative decisions in order to create a final product that matches my vision. it's almost as if...
English

@Armel081 @Thackej @AndyMasley Yeah. Because the image was generated. You didn't need to factor in real lighting, you didn't need to edit the image, you didn't need to plan extensively, you didn't need to wait for the right weather, you didn't need to choose a location from which to place the camera.
