🧵Hi lovely followers, I'm going to concentrate on making short videos from now on, my time spent replying to low follower trolls is better spent educating the public and immunising them against disinfo from the professonal climate deniers. Some of my film work is in this thread

Spain made the right choice, so did Portugal. More renewables and energy storage allowed them to extract themsleves from the global oil and gas price crisis started by a guy in the white house who was bankrolled by big oil and gas. ft.com/content/19f2ee…

@Alan55381125 China powers over 200 million on renewables currently. Is that big enough?

@TheDisproof Denmark has 91% less people than the UK so less power is required, you need to compare with similar population sizes IE UK and France

Gas for electricity is expensive. Compare Denmark at 96 Euros MWh with mostly solar today and UK, mostly gas today at 153 Euros MWh. p.s. Spain and Portugal just 5 Euros per MWh. Mostly Hydro storage, wind and solar today.

I just told @BBCNews: Energy crises are fundamentally demand problems, not supply problems. 80% of our energy is fossil fuels, much of it imported, leaving us exposed to price spikes. The only long-term fix: electrify the economy with clean power.

'We can rely on wind power' say the Green Grifters and Politicos 'Oh no we can't!' says Latimer 12 hours ago wind was making nearly 15% of Britain's electricity. Now its just 4%. Its gone on strike. And there's nothing we can do about it.

I’ve said it before, no one can stop this green tide, not Trump, not Farage - nobody. Being aware of and responsible for the impact of your own business  on the climate - is becoming essential. Ignore it at your commercial peril. It’s not just businesses, customers want to see it too. Reform want Britain to row against this tide - it would be an act of enormous self harm - bigger even than Brexit. edie.net/businesses-inc…

Ocho años apostando por las renovables nos sitúan hoy a la vanguardia energética en Europa. No es ideología: es autonomía estratégica, es proteger hogares e industrias. Y es el camino que seguiremos defendiendo.

There’s a reason every account peddling lies about North Sea oil and gas and net zero has a blue tick. They generate money from X for fossil fuel propaganda that has high engagement rates. If you want to know who is lying, always ask yourself ‘who gains most?’
