It's important for us to process everything Trump says and does with ironclad recognition that he has ZERO sense of a greater good. Because he CANNOT see beyond himself. Not that he WON'T. He CAN'T. This is your periodic reminder that there's a 79-year-old Floridian man who is highly disordered. These disorders render him malignant and focused entirely on himself. He cares about being seen as grandiose and superior to others, and he cares about hiding his lifetime of secrets and lies, which include crimes. And he cares about grift. He cares about nothing else. This man is in power, to our collective detriment. We must adversely impact the level of his power and our opportunity to do that will be in November during the midterms. Leading up to the midterms, lots of voters will focus on consumer prices and other economic metrics. Lots of voters will also focus on the conflicts raging globally. Many will also focus on the heavy-handed private masked police charged with deportations and imprisonments. But here's the thing. This is a big country, and the news cycle is daunting. And there won't be enough broad focus on the specifics underlying the 79-year-old Floridian man's disorders which render him malignant, focused entirely on himself, craving grandiosity, and hiding his lies and crimes. And the reason for this, is the media's incessant normalization of him. And there also won't be enough focus on the systemic change being instituted from Democracy to Authoritarianism - you and I will focus on that, but many, sadly, will find it conceptually daunting. We made a film before the 2020 election that DID focus on his disorders and nefariousness, and it DID get seen by millions, and it DID cross over ideologies and make a difference. We are doing it again.
