@TimothyImholt You’re right, the second trilogy was better than the first. It was a more refined story, however, it wouldn’t have been as good without the incredible backdrop of Chronicles

@ElChandler My opinion, Miss Chandler. 15 books is a stretch. Your readers would be waiting decades to reach the end. Break it into trilogies, each self contained. Just my thoughts based on experience nreading really lengthy series.

@Adam16633313 @polipelican @TiffanyFong SpaceX has been contracted by NASA for countless task from the international space station to designing the Artemis Human Landing System. They are heavily utilized by the dept. of defense, launching heavy payload communication satellites. They EARN their money. No subsidies here.

@bdunaway67 @polipelican @TiffanyFong Elon and his companies have recieved 38 billion (with a B) from government subsidies.
So doing the math, gov "handed" Warren about 0.15% of what they actually did hand over to elon.
Who stole from the government?
English

@polipelican @TiffanyFong Another difference, one of them earned the money through risk and innovation. The other stole from the government and took money from special interest.
English

@TiffanyFong Tiffany, there’s a huge difference between a trillion dollars and 67 million. Do you know that? Carry the decimal a couple of places and that might clear things up. Good luck!

@TheBestqueenx Maybe, but they wrapped up that animation with a compelling story. Unlike today, where every frame may be unique, but the story certainly isn’t.

Crazy for You was written especially for the film Vision Quest (1985), starring Matthew Modine. John Bettis and Jon Lind wrote the romantic ballad, produced by John "Jellybean" Benitez. Unlike the dance hits of the time, the track became one of Madonna's most emotional ballads, showing that she was not limited to dance-pop. Released as a single in March 1985, it reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a week and established itself as one of the biggest romantic hits of her career in the 80s.

China has introduced strict new regulations for online influencers.
Under the new rules, content creators must possess a relevant university degree or professional certification before they can discuss specialized topics such as medicine, finance, education, law, or health. The policy, issued by the Cyberspace Administration of China, aims to curb misinformation and raise the overall quality of online content.
Influencers wishing to cover these subjects on platforms like Douyin, Weibo, and Bilibili are now required to submit proof of their qualifications. Platforms are responsible for verifying credentials and removing any non-compliant content.
Violators face significant penalties, including fines of up to 100,000 yuan (approximately $14,000), account suspension, or permanent bans.
While supporters view the measure as a necessary step to protect the public from misleading or harmful advice, critics argue that it could restrict free expression and limit diverse voices online.
The regulation reflects China’s broader effort to tighten control over digital content and establish higher standards of credibility in the influencer economy.
