at the end of the day, the ducks came into this season wanting to make the playoffs and they did. they fought like hell to beat the oilers and take the golden knights to game 6 and ultimately proved to everyone that they ARE competitors. the future is bright in anaheim.

Give credit to the Ducks. They exceeded expectations in the playoffs. The young core looks rock solid. Carlsson, Gauthier, Sennecke, and LaCombe look like franchise cornerstones for years to come. The challenge will now be to sufficiently surround these guys as they mature.
