I kind of think if you're gonna take a "no the economists and professionals are wrong" you don't get to use the economist's lingo. Recession is a technical term. Find your own word and demonstrate the concept's robustness because we're literally not in a recession.

So businesses are supposed to pay piss police to monitor toilets, but also since there's no way to prove somebody's sex, it'll end up sweeping up cis people who don't look sufficiently "man" or "woman", who'll then end up with grounds for a discrimination case

I'm not sure how "you have to provide toilet facilities for everyone (except trans men)" is expected to survive any kind of challenge at the European Court level tbh, or how that's compatible with human rights law

Exactly right, and if you allowed these people to sell the rights to these properties, most of them would. It’s a gigantic misallocation of resources, and fixing it is the fastest way to create a lot more housing in central London for economically productive people.

the reason is the uk uses a method of interviewing people only in airports whereas other countries use information from electronic barriers, how many people are registered for healthcare etc.
