I am no longer entertaining the idea that Marathon should have been a different experience or that Bungie is somehow wrong about the game they made. I refuse to wait an arbitrary amount of time to appreciate the incredible experience in front of me all so I can fit in with a crowd that wasn't going to play it anyway. Marathon is an incredible game. Not in retrospect. Right now.

Cryo is gonna put a lot of those same purple and gold items out, and its always been that way. This has just given people another option to try and stay up to date on stuff.

We have identified some issues affecting the progression systems and loot economy and will be rolling out a few fixes: Cert containers: Fixing an issue causing more Cert containers to spawn than intended in Night Marsh. Cradle: Given the increased quality and quantity of loot, we've increased progression costs by 25%. We are also still tracking down more issues and will be adjusting loot drops globally while we investigate. We want loot to feel rewarding, but also not flood the economy with too many powerful items early in the season. We'll continue to monitor these systems and feedback closely throughout the season.

So just did my first run after the tutorial one and...this game fucking bangs. S tier art direction, music, sound design, atmosphere, cutscenes, gunplay, on and on. Graphically, it's easily one of the best looking games i've ever played. I gotta be honest, why is this hated???

@casualblu3 I play pretty regular with a friend as a duo, first question always is do you have a mic?
You learn real fast if they dont answer and just run off, they probably gonna get you killed trying to follow em.
Then 3 minutes later they are down and asking for help on a mic.....

Is there a worse experience in any solo queue trio based matchmaking than when you are landed with a premade duo?
The pair of them communicate solely on discord and refuse to ping, talk or type in match.
You spend the whole game playing catch up, as they sprint around everywhere in unison. So often they get toxic if you even dare ask them what the plan is. Worse if you die. If one of them dies they'll auto quit.
3rd wheel gaming is the worst. Duos you need to be better.

What I love about this card is the price point
The average collector hits a chase now and immediately has no choice but to think about selling… hear me out
Not because they care about money, but because they have to. A day to day collector can’t sit on a raw card worth over a grand and consider that responsible.
This chase is already in a sweet spot where anyone could justify keeping it. It’s under 500 (currently under 400), it’s solid art, and it’s just high enough where it feels good to own, but low enough where life’s pressure isn’t forcing a sale on it.
This is where the hobby needs to be. Ascended has created a brain rot in the scene many won’t recognize because they are blinded by dollar signs. And some have no choice but to be.
Small sets and obtainable chases are what we need more of and mega era will provide. As much as I too love money, I love a scene where collectors win much more.
So here’s to Chase cards being sub 500 from here on out and to collectors not having to feel guilt for holding on to their hits 🍻
