@SSN_49ers Charlotte literally hasn't had a top 100 season since Bobby Lutz was there (2010). I see no reason Wes can't significantly raise the floor there and make them a top 100 type program again. I suspect he'll be the most successful head coach they've had there since Lutz. (End)

@SSN_49ers At uncg, he basically had them as a top 100 team for 5 straight seasons on the strength of strong defenses. (4 top 75 defenses including one that finished 26th!) Wes coached 5 of the best 7 seasons in uncg history as a result. (2)

Wait until you see the massive drop in facilities spending over a 5-year period. You don't need them now that you don't have to constantly build and renovate in an effort to claim to lose money on the balance sheet.

@CEsparzaSports History, resources, conference affiliation... It's just a different level of program. Utah State has been great and made good/great hires. But their last 3 coaches have left them for Washington, VCU, and Utah. Something tells me UC is a pretty easy decision.
