One of the big highlights of OshiUplink was actually being able to find merch of my oshis, BigNoseBug & Miss Lala! At a largely 100% anime convention, it was comforting to see non-anime vtubers getting some love. I'm gonna treasure these; they got me through a hard time there.

@Astrofyre I experience that exactly as well. For a while I thought I had to fit into what society sees as androgynous and it was fun to experiment, but I always thought my femininity in my appearance was kinda… pretty. I’m not a pink sparkles kinda gal but I’ll wear a skirt sometimes :P

Its like, try and dress as androgynous as possible so people will think im genderqueer and feel somewhat alienated by my appearance, or dress the way most people will interpret me as a woman and get misgendered. Literally a lose/lose quality of life scenario

I actually detest the experience of being a nonbinary afab person who takes interest in applying inherently feminine aesthetics to my look because i feel the need to reject that part of me at the expense of not even being seen as not-a-girl anyway
