Does anybody outside of Yorkshire know what "have a gander" or "fancy a mooch down town" means? I'm trying to determine how much context to add 🙈
(I'm avoiding written accents in my cosy historical—the Lilje Damselfly novel—to keep it "mainstream" but dialect is sneaking in)
