@UKPowerNetworks Thankyou for your response. We dont have a working landline, as in not one connected. I know this is a common set up on many households which is why I was asking. Maybe Vodaphone, 02 or @EE could help us?

With the power outage in herts last night, data and calls went down for a bit. How will we be able to inform @UKPowerNetworks or get help from 999 if all mobiles and landlines & power is down? Smoke signals? Interpretive dance? Your updates are great, if we can recieve them!

Saw a little baby in GP clinic with what appeared to be a harmless & self limiting condition All obs were normal But there was something v slightly odd in the history after a specific question that revealed this red flag. I then spoke to the paeds consultant & the baby was referred to rapid access clinic I will say it once, twice, multiple times. There is NO such thing as a “simple case” until AFTER diagnosis. PAs have NO place seeing undifferentiated patients, it’s particularly dangerous with babies & children. We urgently need RCGP to state this in black & white.

My mental health is shot. I'm taking time away from healthcare to recuperate. I'd rather work on myself than continue the vicious cycle of overworked, burnt out and stressed all the time. One body says I can work, & another says I can't. It's not fair. No wonder nurses leave.

Meanwhile it's impossible to gain employment in healthcare due to being under investigation for 6 months so far with no end date in sight.

The reality of being investigated by the NMC. They say you can work [as a nurse]. You apply for roles to be told that I'd need supervision due to being investigated. The NMC apparently like nurses being investigated to work as support workers to show they are safe.
