Guy looks at the receipt that has printed my very western first name and the first 2 letters of my very western last name and cocks his head and is like “sooo…is that last name…Asian?” I had to scare him first for fun, but then i confirmed his racial suspicions for him

Wyoming coach Jay Sawvel at Mountain West media days: “A year ago, there was just this cloud, right? We come to these media days, and it was like, ‘OK, there’s ‘those’ guys, and then there’s ‘these’ guys.’ Now, we don’t have ‘those’ guys. They’re out. They can do whatever. They can go join the team in Pullman, Washington. If you’ve ever been there … like, what?”

@Nobodys_Inn "The plain guy who will treat them well" 😭😭😭😭 Yeah and sometimes the plain guy is a bitter little asshole who makes general statements about "most women" but thinks hes better than the guy in the video because he happens to be also ugly too. LOL

I find it astounding that Christians believe Heaven is this beautiful place with breathtaking natural landscapes, where all your needs are met, there’s no war or hunger, and everyone lives in harmony, yet here on Earth, they call it socialism and say it’s evil.

@AlyssaLogic I think women interested in family formation will have a stronger interest in ‘provisioning’ because it does require an excess and pooled resources

If masculinity means anything at all beyond just being bigger and stronger, it’s providing safety I place almost no value in traditional “protection and provision”, but I still value safety. It’s just more emotional and relational safety The men who can provide that are the ones I’m most attracted to. Some men will twist that to mean “men just need to be like women” But, that’s not really it. Men need to be balanced. Men need to be able to flip between more traditional want's and more modern ones. It’s not easy to do, I have a lot of empathy for men in that regard. But, without it, I really see no point in being in a relationship. A man would have to be a multi multimillionaire before “provision” had any appeal at all. And you’ll almost never hear me badmouth exes because I’ve dated men who have been able to do it and I will always appreciate them for it

Let's agree men not making the money has neutered many men. What role in society can they fulfill to be uniquely men again? What role in a family replaces the breadwinner who lets his woman stay at home? I'll start with a female friend: she's the breadwinner. But she's classically female, neurotic AF 😂 He calms her down. The voice of reason. She wouldn't trade the type B guy who shrugs & figures anything out for anything. I also acknowledge that the loss of the ability for a family to afford a SAHP has FUCKED us as a society. But if a woman likes her job... what can a man uniquely do? Let's get creative.
