I think the root cause of more people spending time on dating apps vs IRL is confidence. It does take balls to approach a gal/guy and start a conversation. And confidence can be trained - the more you do it the better you are at it. But ofc, why spend time and effort on this when you can simply swipe left or right on apps.

I can see your point. My OP regarding Eric was specifically his EIP tweet which came across as uppity and stupid, even if he was trying to have a larger point. I didn't even realize that tweet was related to Bankless until after I posted my initial tweet. I'm not as chronically online anymore and autistic so even though I have been on CT longer than Eric I didn't catch it. What are the chances a newcomer who doesn't even have a chance to understand the context reads that? It seems nitpicky, but I can say that about many of his tweets and others this week. He can just say his critique with specifics instead of seeming like a dick.
