Very excited to work with EarthLab and Climate Impacts Group this summer as the NCRC Intern! The Northwest Climate Resilience Collaborative assists frontline communities in improving their resilience to climate change while addressing systemic inequity.

A couple key takeaways from my internship are: community participation/outreach is key to developing reliable public transit; automobiles create serious safety concerns for all, but especially children; and affordable housing must follow Light Rail development! #ENVIR491

My key takeaways from my research were: 1. There's great interest in both the theory and practice of climate and environmental justice from students. 2. There's a desire from students and faculty to learn from and partner with CBOs/NGOs within EJ.

My key takeaway from my research is that we need to expand our fungi cultivation infrastructure in the US. We could be producing nutritious food, biomaterials for construction and air filtration, and compost all from this one organism. #envir491 #poecap

I also want to shout out Jonnell Robinson and Timothy Hawthorne for publishing "Making Space for Community-Engaged Scholarship in Geography". It's been a great source to include in my annotated bibliography!

I want to shout out Heenjun Chang for leading one of my sources, "A community-engaged approach to transdisciplinary doctoral training in urban ecosystem services"!
