@0xzak They need to raise more money. This is a tactic they have been using for last 2 years. Don’t have a “security” product built into Claude that detects issues?

So apparently Anthropic left 3,000 internal docs in a public data lake and security researchers found them. The docs reportedly describe a new model called claude mythos that sits above opus in a new tier called capybara. Their own draft allegedly says it's "far ahead of any other AI model in cyber capabilities". If true, the company building the most security-sensitive AI on earth got popped by a config flag.

@Yuchenj_UW Can we create cheaper OpenAI, Anthropic or xAI with AGI. Doesn’t also mean, we can make infinite startups with zero capital requirements. So why work for these AI labs when I can be one man ai lab myself?

Some people at frontier AI labs told me they believe startups are over. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI will absorb every industry as AGI nears. Coding today, science, medicine, and finance next. Then everything else. If they’re right, that’s a pretty boring end of the world.

@TrueAIHound Why do think Apple is a looser as well? They didn’t invest much in the LLM craze right?

@MetacriticCap Google will “win” but not by much, b/c of TPUs. Google can sustain the capex drain, but other two won’t. Anthropic will be b2b SaaS and OpenAI will be b2c SaaS, but both of them will fizzle out in 3 years. Google’s suite of products will have LLMs jammed into them.

One possible problem with the AI trade. A lot of capacity was built for Meta Superintelligence Labs and xAI. But they are losing and it's a three way race. What happens if it becomes ultimately clear that it's a three way race between Google DeepMind, Anthropic, and OpenAI?

@shannholmberg Wow, standard enterprise software play. Why don’t need to be certified if it’s AI, let alone AGI. Shouldn’t you be able to just ask in plain English? If I need to learn it, it’s not just another software tool.

@cryptopunk7213 Both of them are neither ML researchers nor hardware engineers. There has not been any advancement in LLM performance or kernel optimizations. So LLMs still need faster GPUs to compute more tokens.

this completely fucking breaks the AI Bubble narrative. a 3 year-old gpu is MORE valuable today because it serves higher-quality ai tokens FOR CHEAPER. translation: gpt 5.4 runs BETTER on an OLD GPU than gpt-fucking-FOUR read that again. a newer, better model runs more cheaply on a shittier GPU if this trend continues you can run claude 6 or gpt 6 on a fucking napkin the trend is INVERSE.

.@dylan522p gives a deep dive on the 3 big bottlenecks to scaling AI compute: logic, memory, and power. And walks through the economics of labs, hyperscalers, foundries, and fab equipment manufacturers. Learned a ton about every single level of the stack. 0:00:00 – Why an H100 is worth more today than 3 years ago 0:24:52 – Nvidia secured TSMC allocation early; Google is getting squeezed 0:34:34 – ASML will be the #1 constraint for AI compute scaling by 2030 0:56:06 – Can’t we just use TSMC’s older fabs? 1:05:56 – When will China outscale the West in semis? 1:16:20 – The enormous incoming memory crunch 1:42:53 – Scaling power in the US will not be a problem 1:55:03 – Space GPUs aren't happening this decade 2:14:26 – Why aren’t more hedge funds making the AGI trade? 2:18:49 – Will TSMC kick Apple out from N2? 2:24:35 – Robots and Taiwan risk Look up Dwarkesh Podcast on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify. @TheMG3D You don’t have galaxy brain. Just another $500b and we will have AGI/ASI/God. Agentic economy. Agents make money and spend money. We will just enjoy life with nothing to do and will have more money without producing anything. You just have to believe! Ai, Ai, Ai

@GregorySchier The truth will come out soon. These “AI” companies are lying about users, revenue, and margins. VCs are brainwashed on X and they just want to markup valuations to pass the bags and look good to their LPs. It’s a matter of 4 to 6 months.

@Johandlebar @faradayfury Yes, it does to some extent. But, what OP is saying doesn’t happen when someone says “my printer is not working, help” Try it yourself and the same printer model.

@benchatenu @faradayfury Bro, have you used Claude. It makes recommendations off vague ideas & proboms, researches docs, scaffolds a plan, makes system changes, writes deploy yml, commits and pushed to git, diagnoses vps error logs. It's pretty good.

my dad just got a new macbook air and was bummed that his beloved two-decade-old hp laserjet printer wouldn’t work with it anymore. asked claude to help and it literally re-wrote the driver software to work with the new macos. AND IT WORKED 😭

@benchatenu @faradayfury I didn’t know what that email even was but they reached back out and said they will check my node, cause said it was some kind of node issue I guess? I don’t know what a node is even, and literally it fixed my shit and I have no idea what was even wrong or what they fixed.

@justsettledownn @faradayfury That’s not the same as patching driver code. In your case the script Claude generated probably ran ping and traceroute commands and maybe ran WiFi diagnostics tests for you to email to your ISP or your IT person.

@benchatenu @faradayfury Not true. I no nothing about internet, I literally just said to gpt “my internet bad” after it asked me a few of questions & tests it had me copy paste things into terminal then grab this file it made, then gave me an email to reach out to and what to say. It worked.
