Learn To Shift Early for More Power 🚀 Top UK Coach @benemersongolf with one of his favorite tips using the SuperSpeed Force Board Pro. “If you were throwing a ball, you'd never start your arm first and then push with your legs...that would be a terrible throw! You'd always plant the foot first, then rotate. The same is true in the golf swing....at the very top of the backswing, the first move must be your weight shift. If it's late, there simply isn't enough time for the energy to travel through your body and into the club. The key is to feel as the club starts changing direction, you should already be shifting into the lead side by the time your lead arm is parallel to the ground! The drill is to feel pressure moving into the trail foot on the backswing, then push across into the lead side before transition. Repeat the rhythm: Right → Left → Swing!
