@MarkoMatvikov ‘The efficient functioning of the banking system’. He means their money printer is jamming and we won’t have as much credit expansion and dollar devaluation as if it’s a bad thing for the average Aussie. Kouk needs to sign off his tweets as sponsored by the ALP.

@EVERALDATLARGE By this logic are you happy taking the cream of the crop from bad countries? They would be better off improving their country so all of their countrymen can have better lives not just themselves. Also I'd say most people are more concerned about sheer quantities if anything.

Just heard #AngusTaylor say #Australia must not accept #immigrants from 'bad countries' as they will become bad citizens. But most migrants to any country are good people fleeing from bad counties. Australia is good country yet we have too many bad white citizens who are racists.

Donald Trump’s war is still putting families under pressure. As Premier, I’m determined to use Government to help. That’s why we’re taking 20% off rego.

Something I wish more Australian's would understand. Wealth inequality is an issue, but it's not the ONLY issue making housing unaffordable. Immigration (especially vast amounts of it) strain everything from hospitals to homes and suppress wages. Let's fix both. #auspol26

@samstrades Aussies will keep yelling that it won't happen in Australia for x, y or z reasons. They'll keep doing so until they're in negative equity and the market is panicking most likely.

@MarkoMatvikov Spot on Marko. What's the point of working and busting your guts only to have half taken at the top tax bracket to fund NDIS fraud? Knowing the ALP they will add something stupid like an inheritance tax rather than reducing income taxes and increasing consumption taxes.

There’s a simple predictor for whether or not Labor will deliver productive tax reform in the upcoming budget. Albo refers to the objective as intergenerational equity - which has a different meaning to intergenerational equality. Kids don’t need bribes - they need the opportunity to build a life for themselves in an economy that rewards effort.

#BREAKING Minister for housing, Clare O’Neill, says it’s the Liberal Party’s fault that Australia currently has a housing shortage What she doesn’t tell you, is that her boss Anthony Albanese, is currently importing 3,500 immigrants a day Read that again

Kind of overwhelmed by the number of people using this little experimental Bible reading tool. Still lots to do on it but tweaking it more and more.

When you turn a blind eye to union corruption, you put organised crime on the public payroll. When you allow widespread welfare fraud, you politically protect a revenue stream for organised crime. When you tax cigarettes and alcohol well beyond affordable levels, you incentivise black markets for organised crime. When you under-pay and under-resource your police force, you remove the first line of defence against organised crime. When you create an unproductive economy with high cost of living and low socio-economic mobility, you create incentives for more organised crime. When you create a legal system that prioritises offenders over public safety, you give foot soldiers with immunity to organised crime. This didn’t happen overnight - it was a series of decisions across government over many years that have led to the rise in organised crime. And once it’s taken root in a new jurisdiction, you can be sure the corruption and violence will increase.

Two Melbourne bars hit overnight. A drive-by shooting at The Emerson Rooftop in South Yarra around 2am, and a man set fire to a bar on Chapel Street in Prahran around 5am. The Emerson was open at the time, and people inside, but nobody injured.

Here’s a plan to fully fund the NDIS, cancel AUKUS! That will free up $100 billion over the next decade to give people with disability the support they need.

Pauline Hanson is asked why One Nation is polling so highly: “Australia is lacking leadership” “People are fed up, they’ve had enough” “Bondi has been a big wake up call” "Mass migration has also been a huge big issue” “Lack of housing, jobs, security, cost of living”

Support for the major parties for Australians in a "great deal of financial stress" has collapsed. For Boomers, Gen X and Gen Y, the party of choice is One Nation. For Gen Z, their support is thoroughly behind the Greens.

No mention of mass migration? Or the 3,000,000 temporary migrants who live here, or the 77,000 illegal visa overstayers or the fact we have over 269,000 homeless Australians as a result of this migration catastrophe? Or is it just evil landlords and billionaires you infantile perma-adolescent?

Renters are facing some of the worst housing insecurity in living memory, and the fuel crisis is making it worse. The PM must use Nat Cabinet today to coordinate a nationwide rent freeze and ban on evictions, just like Vic did during COVID. The only barrier is political will.
