Finally the Court did something right. Even this SCOTUS realized the Sackler Crime Family deserves justice for causing & profiting off the opioid epidemic, not immunity. After waiting years, it's time for @DOJCrimDiv to put their mountains of smoking-gun evidence to use #Dopesick

@AoDespair Thank you. I raised this question with captains and at the @WGAEast meeting last night, and this was not the response we got. A lot of lower levels are very disappointed right now, so I highly recommended the council communicate this to membership officially! @LisaCullen

You've misapprehended what was gained here. If I am a showrunner doing specific work on a subject, I may want to hire writers of certain cohort or with specific knowledge. And now, by what the union gained. I MUST employ them at writer/producer pay grade regardless of experience.

@countmystars @moses_marquez @stevendeknight It’s not just staff writers, but Story Editors & ESEs. “minimum staffing” may actually disincentivize studios from hiring us, especially in “mini rooms” where minimum is 3 (including showrunner) but 3 of those have to be writer-producers, IE mid/upper levels. Very disappointing

@brieburnham @countmystars @moses_marquez @stevendeknight Unfortunately those numbers are totals. So for the small room, they have to hire 3 people. Of those 3, 3 must be mid-to-upper levels. So my concern is: Where do lower levels fit in?
